It was very warm and cozy there. Before the leaves were placed there, he noticed some traces in the snow. Willie asked the squirrel: “Whose footprints are these visible?” He answered him: “The dog ran past.” Leaf remained silent. Following the magpie, a sparrow flew in. He was also very cold. The squirrel invited him to her hollow. The sparrow was happy and flew there. After some time, the sparrow's leaves became very warm. They fell asleep unnoticed. The magpie said goodbye to the squirrel and flew away. He also climbed into the hollow. Since he wanted to eat, he took a mushroom and began to slowly eat it. Later he also fell asleep. Day after day passed. Our friends lived quietly together in their hollow. They talked peacefully among themselves. As soon as the sparrow became hungry, it flew away for a while. He pecked at the crumbs and grains that were there in the feeders. Then he came again. There were days that became too frosty. The sparrow's paws were freezing. The squirrel warmed him with her fluffy tail. A strong snowstorm could be heard outside. Even drafts did not enter the hollow. Our friends were not worried and were calm. they heard dogs barking, people laughing and talking, birds' voices and much more. So they lived happily ever after. Nobody bothered them.
