Chapter 2

Settings
Sam got out of bed and headed to the kitchen to make coffee. As he walked in, he saw Dean sitting at the table eating his favorite pie. Walking over to the coffee machine, Sam said: — Hello, Dean. “Hi,” Dean answered him, continuing to chew the pie. Sam poured himself some coffee and sat down opposite his brother, occasionally watching him. Sam waited for what Dean would say about yesterday's incident, but he remained silent. Silence fell between them, from which the younger Winchester could not stand it and asked: “Dean, I know you want to ask me how I ended up in that house,” the elder Winchester stopped chewing and looked at his brother, waiting for what else he would say. “You won’t believe me...” Sam didn’t finish when he was interrupted by Dean. — Are you telling me this, considering our business? “Well,” Sam began. - Speak up already. “Lucifer moved me there,” after that Dean coughed, but saw a bottle of beer and immediately drank it. When the coughing fit went away, Dean asked: —Are you kidding, Sammy? Seriously? Did you just believe the devil and, moreover, allow him to “help” you? — He said that you needed help... - Seriously? Have you collaborated with Satan? — I didn’t cooperate with him, Dean. —Then how do you explain this? - I... I don’t know. I just told you the truth. - Yes. — That's all Dean could say, he looked at his brother, and then took a bottle of beer, left the kitchen and slammed the door behind him. But Sam remained in place, he did not follow his brother, but simply sighed and closed his eyes.

Dean was sitting at the bar drinking beer when Cas suddenly appeared next to him. Seeing him, Dean shuddered and said to him: — Damn, Cas, don’t forget about your personal space, okay? “Okay, Dean,” Castiel answered him and looked into his eyes innocently. Dean couldn't look the angel in the eyes for long and turned to the glass of beer, looking at the bottom of the glass. — Did something happen, Dean? — Don’t angels feel this? — Dean decided to turn his answer into a joke. “They feel it, but I wanted to hear it from you,” Cas answered, still looking at Dean. — This is Sam. He told me that with the help of Lucifer he ended up in that haunted house. — And he helped you? - Yes, but... - Then what is the problem? — The problem is that Sam ended up in the house with the help of Lucifer. This means that this devil can or has already brainwashed Sammy, then hallucinations may return to him. Sam's going to go crazy again, and I don't want that, Cas. — I understand you, Dean. -Then help me. — I don’t know how to help, unless I drive him back into the cage. But if Lucifer didn't do anything bad to Sam... “If he does this, I’ll tear him to pieces,” Dean said with a feeling of anger and, taking a deep breath, calmed down, continued. — But I don’t know what plans he has for my brother. The unknown...it's scary, Cas. — Castiel looked at Dean with concern, but said nothing.

Sam sat in his room and waited for Dean to return. He read in complete silence until he heard the rustling of wings. Looking in the direction of the sound, he saw Lucifer again. Sam was no longer surprised by Satan's appearance. Sitting up on the bed, he looked at Lucifer, expecting anything from him. The devil leaned on the wall and smiled, looking at Sam and asked: — Are you bored? - Here's another! — You can be rude sometimes, Sammy. “You offend me,” Lucifer made an offended face, just like then. “I’m glad,” Sam grinned, to which Lucifer grinned in response. - What do you need from me? “Otherwise you don’t know,” the devil spread his hands. — You will not receive me as a vessel. - Don't be so sure about it. I have big plans for you. — Sam heard the rustle of wings and realized that Lucifer had left. Suddenly he heard footsteps and the door opening. He saw Dean come to him and sat down next to him. - Forgive me for losing my temper. But you also have to understand me… the devil is after you,” Dean grinned, Sam had nothing to answer. “Promise me that you’ll be okay,” Dean looked at his brother. “I promise,” Sam replied and looked back at Dean. Looking at each other, they hugged. Soon Dean stood up and said: — Good night, Sammy. — Good night, Dean.       And the door closed behind Dean...
