Chapter 1

Settings
Sometimes you want a human: a life without the spotlight and constant interviews. I chose this path, I chose the life of a star. I write music that means teenage problems. The only problem I have is being recognized at every turn. But I think the release of my next song will be accompanied by a downpour of criticism from my fans' parents. - Y/N! Dad and I have great news for you! - My parents came into my room with something in the package. What could it be? - You’re going to school tomorrow for guys like you. - My dad says. - But you have to hide your identity. For this case there is... - Mom put this package on my bed. - This! - There was a pink wig in the package. It was made of a pretty high-quality material that made it feel like real hair. - Thank you for taking care of me. But what am I supposed to do tomorrow? - I’ve already packed everything. - My mother put a bag next to my bed, where instead of makeup and my notebooks with texts, there are school notebooks and textbooks. - Then it’s time to get ready for bed. Now I have to improve my sleep. And I’m lying in bed in about half an hour. What’s my first day of school gonna be like? What if I fall in love with a boy? The reason for this question is because I saw a guy during the concerts every time I saw him, who stood out from the crowd. Extraordinary exterior, white curly hair, and at the last concert he was dressed predominantly in bright colors. There’s something interesting about him, but we’ll think about it tomorrow. The morning started with the first bell. Tidying up, having a decaf and a veggie sandwich, I rushed to the bus stop. When you get to school, your first impression is that it’s like a set for a music video. When I went inside, I was even more convinced. After going to the ladies' room, I immediately put on my wig, which my parents gave me. - Well, now I’m like Hannah Montana. But it was the other way around. I remembered this famous singer because she and I are quite similar. We’re both teenage heroes, we’re both wearing wigs, and we’re both living a double life. - I’m sorry, I went to the girl who came to the bathroom, already at the moment I put on the wig. - Can you tell me where the *** class is? It’s on the second floor, I have to go there too. Are you new here? - She asked me back. - Yeah, new girl. It’s unusual that I was enrolled at the end of the year. Call me Hannah. I’m Hannah Byung. - Interesting last name. You don’t look local. Well, I’m Monica. - Her name’s interesting, too. Well, the reason I called myself Hannah is because I live like Hannah Montana. Monica and I then made it to my class. Looking at the seats and in parallel choosing my own, I sat in the last row, I think no one will understand that I am Byung Y/N. When the bell rang, I went out to introduce myself to the class. And how surprised I was to see the same guy from the concerts. He was sitting at the last desk in the other corner of the class, by the window. - You can choose who will give you the school tour after class. It could be anyone. - The teacher says to me. - Then can it be that guy? - And I pointed at him. Dee? The musician’s son? Monica stepped in. And that kid reacted to being approached by him. - What? What should I do? - He didn’t seem to listen to us. But Monica decided to tell him what to do. Okay. I hope I don’t bore her.

When class was over, Dee took my hand and took me on a tour of the school. And shit! I’ve never been this close to a boy. After going through all the floors and classrooms, he decided to talk to me. - So that’s what you are. I think I got you. - Why did he say that? - Did he know who I was? Right. We need to come up with a legend. - Do you look very much like the singer Byung Y/N. Are you her twin sister? I don’t think she ever talked about brothers and sisters. - Apparently, he knows me well. - It is rather the fact that some people are similar to each other and in the world of such there are 4-5 people. Maybe I’m one of this singer’s doppelgangers. Let’s get ready for the next lesson. And then we can go to the park nearby and get to know each other better. - All right. My parents let me wait four hours by the fountain. - Good. - And we went to study this day. And I got these lines in my head for this song that’s coming up, and maybe I’ll write it and talk to my parents and have them make me some music. In the meantime, studying and trying not to get distracted by an unknown feeling that Dee has discovered in me.
