small joys of two ordinary people

getting through the day was becoming a difficult task. no matter how hard she tried to focus, adhd brain be damned, she couldn’t stop thinking. no moral principles or taoist mantras would help at this point, she was bewitched. her mind longed for them, their presence, warmth, softness…her partner knows what they want, they talk about things freely and get to be in control when she’s tired. knowing that, she wished she could get home to them right at this second. the unruly mind of hers kept bringing to the forefront that adorable smile, gentle hands, and flexible voice. the purity of it all was not gonna last long in her dreams. the smile looks even nicer when they get startled from her praise and approval. their hands do so well holding on her thighs and pressing on that one spot inside, bringing her to the edge. their voice is especially remarkable. how it changes from different positions, textures and kinds of touch has always fascinated her. if she got home right now she’d jump into their arms, peck them on the cheek, and then push them in the direction of their bedroom, while making the most innocent face she could possibly have.  she’d tell them how much she missed them today, that she thought about them lots, and ask if they feel like doing it their way today. at the present moment though, she got up and swiftly left for the bathroom. she just sat there, took some deep breaths, and thanked her past self for wearing a skirt that couldn’t stain from discharge. a ride home was promising to be long.
