- Ted!!! - silence in response. -Teeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! - there's still no answer. Throw a small stone out the window. The window opened almost immediately, and Ted looked out of it. - What?! - Ted asked very irritably. "Tell me a fairy tale," Aiden asked. "One day I'll kill you while you're sleeping!" Ted said and slammed the window. - Maaaaam! - Aiden shouted, running away from the window. Mom scolded Aiden for not getting his neighbors at the wrong time with stupid requests and told him to go to bed. Aiden couldn't sleep for a long time. He was constantly imagining suspicious shadows near the window, and he also constantly remembered Ted's last words and was very afraid. About half an hour later, he calmed down and fell asleep. "Where am I?" Aiden thought when he fell asleep. The room was dark, the light came only from a square on the wall, similar to an uncurtained window. Aiden came to this square. Yes, it was really a window. He looked at him. It turned out that Aiden was on the second floor, and a very bright moon was visible in the window. "It seems like a full moon," thought Aiden, "and I'm definitely sleeping?" Aiden pinched his hand and felt not a lot of pain. "If it's a dream, it's very realistic," Aiden decided. There was a growling and scratching outside the window. Aiden looked down. Under the very window, he saw a large bear, a strange bright yellow bear, with a knife in his paw. "Are bears yellow?" thought Aiden. But then the bear raised his head upstairs and looked straight into Aiden's eyes. He clearly saw in this look the desire to kill. The bear began to climb the wall, although the knife prevented him from doing it. Unfortunately for Aiden, his house was brick, and there were not big cracks between the stones, which the bear clung to. Aiden realized that he had to run. If only it were a dream, if it were a dream," Aiden said, running out of the room. He remembered that of the reliable shelters in the house there is only a basement and an attic, but since there are no windows in the basement, or another exit, Aiden decided to go to the attic. At that moment, he heard the sound of broken glass. "Bear!" Aiden got it and ran away. He always ran fast, almost from birth, and thanks to the constant practices of running away from Ted and Chris, he could call himself a very good runner without a conscience. Aiden ran, and a bear ran after him, and he ran on his hind legs. It was only necessary to run a corridor of about 20 meters to the saving attic, but they had been running for five minutes, and the corridor seemed to become endless, and the staircase to the attic did not approach, and the door to Aiden's room only moved away, so after 2 minutes it completely disappeared from view. "It's definitely a dream," Aiden decided. He began to think what to do, because he didn't want to die, even in a dream. The only visible way out that Aiden found was to jump over the railing to the first floor, but the height there was 2.5 meters. He was still trying to run forward, but he felt that his legs were starting to hurt and it was getting harder to breathe. Then he noticed that the bear was slowly reducing the distance. And Aiden decided to jump. He waved over the railing and landed successfully on the floor. Aiden immediately jumped up and ran to the door leading to the street, where he hoped to get to his car and drive it. Aiden heard a rumble behind him and realized that the bear had also jumped after him. He accelerated even more, ran to the door, pulled the handle, but the door did not open, and Aiden remembered with horror that the door was always closed at night in their house. He rushed towards the basement, but the bear caught up with him. At first, he hit Aiden's shoulder with his knife, and Aiden felt a lot of pain. From this blow, he was thrown against the wall, but he still found the strength to continue running. But now Aiden was severely weakened, and the bear immediately caught up with him. The next blow fell on his back, tore his shirt, skin and part of his muscles. Aiden fell to the floor, he no longer had the strength to resist. The bear turned Aiden on his back, and he moaned in pain. Then the bear said, "I'll always come to you!" Having said that, he quickly stabbed Aiden in the throat, cutting off his head. - Beep-beep! - said the alarm clock in Aiden's room. Aiden jumped up from the bed and sighed with relief. "It's just a dream," he thought. Then Iden decided to go wash up. He got out of bed, changed his clothes and went to the bathroom. There, Aiden turned on the light, washed and looked at himself in the mirror. He noticed something strange on his neck. Looking closely, Aiden realized with horror that he had a long, reddish scar on his neck. And then he remembered the bear's words.
