Warm smiles

Settings
St. Petersburg. What associations do you have when you hear the name of this city? Probably grayness, slush, rain, cold, coffee... Others will say Hermitage, art, tranquility, architectural beauty. Everyone will find something different in this city. Felix found this "something" - a boy of about 18, he studied at one of the universities of the city. He himself does not look like a sad resident at all, but quite the opposite. Positivity pours out of every crevice and he brings some kind of joy and warmth to those around him. He was like a second sun - blond hair, freckles scattered on his cheeks, shining amber eyes, wears bright clothes, in which the predominant color is yellow. On his face most of the time there is a radiant smile. It was November. As always, the sky was full of nonsense, and so was Worm's mood. Today he was very tired in his classes, the teacher was dictating too fast, and he hadn't eaten today, except for coffee with a staggering amount of sugar... Felix was almost to the building's watch, when suddenly he heard banging against the wall, crying and screaming. Realizing that something was wrong the guy went around the corner where the scuffle was taking place. Tears. Screaming for help. Insults. There was clearly nothing good going on here. It was a strong trigger for a man who had fought for good in his life. He had been nicknamed "good with fists" since he was a child, and literally. He often got into trouble while he was trying to prove his point, which in his opinion was good and safe. At first he was even praised when he was a child, but when he was a sensible teenager few people supported his fierce fight for all that was good. He always had utopian desires like "world peace" and "good triumphs over evil". He didn't want to admit that things were far from the fairy tale. As you may have realized, Felix stood up for the student, who was already sitting on the floor with disheveled hair and several visible bruises. After yelling at the instigators of the conflict, who, by the way, were two, they did not leave. But after the yelling of Aunt Zina, who had just washed the floor, all the participants - both victims and predators - ran away. Having already escaped into one of the corridors, the guys took a breath and our defender started the dialog: -Are you all right? Nothing hurts? -Felix asked panting. -A? Ah, no, nothing... - he had a nice voice, but he was shy. -Are you sure? Maybe we should go to the nurse? - he was worried about his newfound acquaintance. -Ahaha, right, I'm fine - the long-haired man got embarrassed and giggled in response to his excitement -Are you feeling okay too? -Don't worry about me) What's wrong with those two assholes anyway!? - immediately complained aggressively about them. ‐I have bad luck in life, I'm used to it... - I've gotten used to it. -By the way, what's your name? I'm Felix! - he decided to change the subject and not to remind me of the (possibly) painful topic. -Ah, I'm Zakhar, but everyone calls me Umbrella. -... - he had a mute question - Isn't it offensive to be called an object? -Well... Not to me it isn't - Umbreon gave a meaningful hum. -I guess I'll be going now. Bye? -You don't need any help? -Not at all, thank you- -The blue-haired man was starting to feel embarrassed by these offers of help. -Bye, then! Be careful.) Sunny suddenly hugged his new acquaintance, he flinched a little, but accepted the hug. That was the end of the sudden acquaintance and both went their separate ways. But the story definitely doesn't end here. Their meeting is far from accidental... Having already left the territory of the university Felix went to the rented apartment, which he got only by chance. In the evening, when he wanted to unwind after the end of the rain and an incredible amount of homework. Strolling along the beautiful streets with their atmosphere of XVIII-XIX centuries. After them began restaurants and coffee shops. In one of them he saw a familiar face that he had seen recently. That was right, it was Umbreon. He was himself of unusual appearance and it was hard not to notice him. Long blue hair like a girl's, an angelic and melancholy look in his azure eyes, a warm sweater, headphones. When he opened the door, the aroma of coffee and cinnamon immediately hit his nose, but it was so pleasant that he wanted to enjoy it forever. Felix looked around the place and saw the man he had come for. He touched his friend's shoulder so as not to startle him, but he shuddered and took off his headphones. As soon as Umbreon looked up at the top, where a cute face was smiling, he recognized his hero of the day and smiled too. -Hello! -I saw you here and thought I'd stop by, am I interrupting? - Fel started actively. -Hi, yes, of course, I'm just finishing... -The blue-eyed man gradually shifted his gaze from his interlocutor to his notes. -Should I sit down? -Ah, sure, sorry I didn't offer. Felix moved one of the neighboring chairs to the table, where Umbrella's things were placed. -What are you doing? -You know, literature notes, it doesn't matter. -Listen, why don't we hang out, make friends? -You know. I have a lot of acquaintances here, I want to make a friend - a little withdrawn that told his goal. -Ah, well, I guess I don't mind - the blue one gradually closed his notebooks and folded his pencil case. He was not very comfortable that he was suddenly paid attention to by the person he had just met today. -Should we order coffee? Umbrella readily agreed, the coffee here was cheap, but it was good enough for him. -What are you interested in? The question stumped the sixth man a little. -Huh, a little bit of everything. Then drawing, then music, but dragged into writing - rubbing his neck answered in a quiet voice. -Wow, you're a multifaceted man! I mainly collect memorabilia things, heehee, well, and photography -What can you collect? I tried once, but I didn't have the patience to collect everything... -You don't have to be patient. I randomly collect coins from different countries and different years of issue. I'll find one at a relative's house or on the street, it's fun to find a nice little surprise! -Heh, I guess... Here their conversation was interrupted by a waiter and a fresh pot of coffee. Having thanked him and tasted the drink Felix became seriously interested in the newcomer's work. -By the way, what do you draw? -Oh, well, mostly landscapes, they are easier to draw as for me -Oh, I can show you some pictures of places I've been. It's so picturesque, you'll fall down from shock! Both of them laughed, they became so comfortable chatting that they didn't leave the cafe until the closing time. They were having fun, discussing vigorously, even a shy person like Umbrella was able to keep the conversation going.

Their friendship only grew stronger from there, I promise you)
