      While Sonic, Tails and Knuckles were looking for and catching aliens from other universes, trying to find and catch that hedgehog made of crystals, he himself was flying through the forests all the way to Green Hills and didn’t understand how he got here? What kind of universe is this, what time is it now and most importantly, where is Princess Alice with Iblis inside her and Sonic. As far as he remembers well, everything seemed to be going as it should have been. And then suddenly everything ended abruptly when he almost succeeded in getting Iblis and, reuniting with him, reunited into Soryalis. It was all somehow strange. This was very annoying for the demon, because everything here is completely different from how he remembers it well. The only thing he managed to find were magazines and newspapers in store windows where Sonic was depicted. Only this was not the Sonic he saw and remembered with his own eyes. After all, the one he tried to kill had a whole eye with two pupils, and this one can be seen to have two eyes separate from each other. And only now it finally dawned on him that something must have happened and he suddenly moved here — into a parallel universe. But he no longer knows how to get out of it. One of the newspapers was lying in one trash can, which he took out from there and began reading it to figure out what was going on. From it he realized that he was on planet Earth, USA, Maine, the city of Green Hills. And he also learned from this newspaper details about Sonic, that he was not guilty, not dangerous at all, and all that stuff. Besides all this useless information about the Sonic of this world, he noticed a couple of lines that even described that he has friendly relations with the people in this city. Most of all, he was friends and played cat and mouse with a certain old man nicknamed Crazy Karl. — “Crazy Karl?” — Mephiles thought questioningly in his thoughts. — “Well, people in this universe have strange names. Although... I think this guy knows where this Sonic is... And if he knows, then we can meet him face to face." Having thought about this, the demon threw the newspaper on the sidewalk and set off on foot to the address that was also indicated in the newspaper regarding Crazy Karl. Although it’s not clear why they should write about this in the newspapers?

      Crazy Karl brewed himself a mug of strong coffee early in the morning and was preparing to take his first sip when he suddenly heard a knock on the door. — Strange! The old man leaned towards him, putting the gun aside, and became worried about that strange hedgehog. Although he looked scary to him, judging by his condition, he clearly felt bad, which means he was not dangerous to him. That's for sure. — What's wrong with you? Should you call a doctor? — he asked Mephiles, and he barely reached out to him with his hands, grabbed his shoulders and raised his terrible muzzle to the man’s face. — I'm slowly dying... I'm terribly weak... Do you know such a person as the Blue Devil? — Do you know him? I can call him to you if you want. — says the old man and runs back to the phone, and the demon falls to the floor again and groans: — Quicker! I feel bad...

      Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Tom and Maddie were all in the same cave in front of a table with sheets, news and others. — We searched everything, but we couldn’t find this crystal hedgehog anywhere. — Sonic says to himself. — Maybe you just imagined it? — Tom asked. — No. We saw him together with those black and white. — It’s not racism, it’s just an explanation. — Maddie whispered to Tom. — That means he definitely was, and I remember it well. And we only came across Robotnik’s fat double, four hedgehogs, one wolf, two robots, a water monster, a huge bull, a princess and some kind of fox rapper. — Sonic finished, then clenched his right hand into a fist, raised it and hit it loudly, shouting: — WHERE ARE YOU HIDING, THE DAMMIT!!! Tom, Maddie, Tails and Knuckles tried to calm the blue hedgehog while he caught his breath. Suddenly Tom's phone rang and he picked it up. — Hello!... Hello, Karl. Why are you calling?...Who?...Just a minute! — Tom removes his cell phone from his ear and hands it to Sonic. — Sonic, take a break for now. OPEN!!! — he shouted, almost in panic. He was afraid that suddenly this alien from another world would do something terrible to him. At first, the old man did not open the door for a long time, and Sonic began to worry that something had already happened. He wanted to run to the window, take a brick and knock it out in order to quickly break into the house and help, when at that very moment Crazy Karl opens the door. The hedgehog only managed to pick up a brick, but, fortunately, he had not yet thought of throwing it out the window. — A! You're already here? Come in! — he invites the Blue Devil to his house. Sonic runs inside and looks around. He notices the same crystal hedgehog he saw yesterday in the kitchen at the table. Karl approaches the demon and puts his hand on his shoulder. — Crystal Demon, here is my friend, Blue Devil. For others, just Sonic. Sonic looked a little with excitement and suspicion at the demon who was posing as weak and helpless. — What is your name? — he asked him. — Mephiles. — the demon first introduced himself, and then began to explain. — I read about you on the street in court, in the newspaper.
