Chapter 13

The new chapter is simply amazing! I was speechless, mentally squealing with joy and pride. This chapter has now become one of my top favorites. And in the future, I simply have to buy the volume it’s included in.
A year and almost nine months ago, in the Russian version of this work, I posted a chapter where I said that the light novel characters would appear in the main manga… some of them, for sure. You can’t imagine how happy I am now, having once again been proven right about Paul’s appearance.
All this time in the Russian fandom, I’ve defended this theory with all my might, insisting on its veracity. Some, of course, didn’t believe me, considering it nonsense. Now, I’ve gone into smug mode with a wicked laugh (Chucky laugh, please). Because in the end, they were the ones who turned out to be wrong. To like-minded people and those who wanted to see him in the manga, I’ll say one thing… we were all right, he came!
I was also pleased to hear Paul say that Chuuya had asked him for help. It turns out Chuuya and Paul are actually in touch. Moreover, Chuuya has not only acknowledged and forgiven Paul in words. This is very good news, even though there were some sad and unforgivable casualties.
Now for the equally magnificent appearances. I was simply overjoyed when my next red-haired darling, Mark, appeared on the battlefield. And Margaret and Lafkraut, too.
You know, when Francis announced he would revive the Guild, I thought only Louise and Margaret would remain with him from his old Guild when he woke up. He wouldn’t be able to persuade the others, with the exception of John, to return, so he decided to recruit new members. Thankfully, I was wrong, and we saw our favorite Guild members.
The appearance of Koyo with Mori, Kaji, Ango, Taneda, and Yosano completely broke my heart. I knew Mori wouldn’t stand by while the city was in danger, plus Fyodor had deprived him of half his subordinates. So he couldn’t help but come and help the agency.
Koyou, of course, as one of Mori’s loyalists, wouldn’t sit on the sidelines either, also for Kyouka’s sake, of course. In short, the entire chapter was a real bombshell, which probably left us all in shock, speechless, and mentally dancing and squealing with joy.
Now we get to the most interesting parts. Akutagawa and Atsushi weren’t able to stop Dostoevsky, and he took off, but thanks to the Ango B-2 he was using, it exploded and fell into the water. But the question is: was he really inside? If so, why wasn’t he shown?
I think one of the converted was inside. I’ll explain why I think that way now. Remember what Fyodor told Aya when he was revived, taking over Bram’s body.
He told her that Bram had died, and all that remained was a reflection of his (Bram’s) ability.
This means that when a body is taken over, the ability possessed by Dostoevsky’s vessel remains, but apparently fades over time. For now, Fyodor has the ability to control vampires, which allowed him to command someone to board a plane and take off in his place. So, let’s not relax and write Fyodor out of the plot.
Despite my immense joy, there is one sad detail. I once said that Yosano went looking for Tachihara, but unfortunately, that turned out to be wrong. She’s been saving Taneda all this time, which is a shame. I was hoping to find out that Tachihara, aside from his vampirism, was doing well. All that remains is to wait for the arc to conclude and see our other favorite characters who were turned.
That’s all I have for now. See you in a month and let me know what you think.
