Chapter I

Settings
They crossed the stonepath, the stonehouse, where they slept, was back. Hihgrocks were in foward. The cats went left, walked two foxtails and went right and climbed up on a highrock.       “Wow! I saw the hirocks, that higher these!” — marvelled Blizzard.       Maple didn’t pay on the his wife’s words, but sniffed.       “Wait, — he said. — Perhaps, I lost our path, but I perfectly remember, that cave was near the one of the stonepaths.”       “Why are we going deep into the highrocks?!” — the golden she-cat almost provoked a conflict.       “Because I started to remember ths now!” — almost angry answered her husband.       The cats went down to the stonepath, where they crossed at sunrise. The husband and the wife went foward, and after a few moments they have picked up their pace. They came sooner, than he thought they would.       Blizzard and Maple climbed over the “wall”, leading to the large hole, where they went down. They went to the burrow in he highrocks, that was named “cave”.       The cats went in a thick darkness. The golden she-cat with brown ears, back, upper sides and spots on lower sides, brown tails and spots followed the he-cat. The cave had two paths. Where they are going — to right or to left? There was a light far away in the left, but in the right — dark. But Maple didn’t stop and went left. A circle after the cats were in a place, threr was a big warm stone, that shined lsky-blue light.       The hungry Blizzard asked:       “We didn’t have breakfast this morning, please, go to hunt.”       The careful husband agreed, but said:       “There is dark and cold, but safely too on the right path of the cave”, — and he disappeared into the tunnel.       The she-cat saw something different, something amazing.       Blizzard was in a beautiful place. There were a forest, a river, shined glades, which were closed by bushes.       Two cats were sitting in not far from her. The pregnant she-cat saw wings on her back, but the belly wasn’t so big. Where are her unborn kittens?       Then the slim she-cat went to the bushes, where those cats were sitting. When she pulled the bushes, she saw…       What’s like a black spot on white fur? What is this horror? Why theese kittens, who looked like Maple and Blizzard, are liying whihout heads?       The golden she-cat put her paw away, but those cats heard this through the rustling in the bushes. They turned their heads to Blizzard.       “We hope, theese kittens will be OK”, — murmured a white she-cat with green eyes.       Blizzard sartled, but after that rejoiced. She recognised them as familiars or, maybe, family members.       “Mum? — she came to her. — And who is this near you?” — and she pointed her golden tail at spotted brown cat, who sitted near the white she-cat.       “He is your father, who named Fluffier” — she answered.       “Yes, I remember. When it was hot, I hunted, but was losted, and after that suddenly snow fell! Then the cold weather would soon set in. Darked, do you remember, , that when Blizzard was born, your parents stalked and cursed us” — said Fluffier.       “Why I don’t? I was their least favourite…”, — Darked snickered sadly, but their daughter interrupted her:       “But what do theese headless kittens there?”       “They are your daughters, — answered Darked. — From that time, when only Fifth and his family lived, they knew: there will be the Greay Union Of He-cats and She-cats. But we don’t decide, how they will be — it depends on the circumstances. We just look at them. If the foetuses don’t evole in right temp, we will say about this and the action to be taken to you”, — and she finished.       “Maple is coming back now, — murmured Fluffier. — Bye!”       The whole view melted awy in the instant.
