Chapter 3. Miss Romanoff

I walked to the Widow's private room as if I were going to be shot. No... I understood with my head that there would be no problems and Natasha would not kill me from the threshold, on the contrary, she was the only one who was concerned about the integrity of my ass. Therefore, I cherished the hope that everything would go without any problems. God grant, and this day will cease to be so intense and will grow into something soft and passionate. There was little hope for this, but I preferred to believe in myself and the opportunities that opened up before me.
Fate did not just give us chances and realized interesting events leading along a winding and thorny path. Putting my hand with the chip to the scanner, I waited until the door of the training sector was unlocked, and I would get out of the general part of the laboratory, into the personal area in which the Avengers usually trained. Stark had to create huge cubes by demolishing ceilings and partitions on four floors, so that the same Hulk did not destroy the tiny space. And such a polygon allowed using holograms and dense moving blocks to recreate any tasks for testing.
Natasha actually turned up in a small room reserved for gymnastics. Leaning on the door jamb, I watched how the trained body, accustomed to kill and beat without pity, smoothly spun to the slow music of Tchaikovsky. The ball, like an extension of her fingers, rolled and obeyed her every movement. She noticed me a long time ago, but preferred to pretend that the music and this dance completely occupied her thoughts. And I didn't mind, it was really beautiful and exquisite, even fascinating, if you look at it from such a close distance behind each wave of thin brushes.
— I didn't expect such a performance from you, — I grinned, — is it really for me personally?
— That's another thing, — Natasha snorted and pulled off the elastic band, loosened her curls, — I had to somehow justify myself to Tony for going down to the lower floors. He wouldn't have believed in my love of science and the stuff you make all day. For me, it's better to go shopping than to dig into the hardware without sleep and rest.
"How did you get Friday to betray Stark and me?" — as I entered the room, I heard the soft click of the door closing.
"But I won't tell you that," the woman winked slyly at me. — Let's just say that every self-respecting girl should have a trump ace up her sleeve, let it remain my backup option for escape. In case I want to betray you.
"Then you'll blow up half of Manhattan before you leave, and not ask Friday to lock us in a tower," I shook my head. — You can start yelling at me. I already realized that I messed up and it's better to accept my fate humbly.
"Pete," the Widow said with a heavy sigh, "we were all in your place once. Youth is not a vice, it gives us an advantage and allows us to see the world in rainbow colors. The more colors, the more interesting it is to live. Do you know why I became a mercenary? I was just bored. There was not enough adrenaline and the usual competitions. And now I'm already at full speed trying to keep my balance without realizing what I'm doing. You're going to have the same withdrawal soon. The desire to do at least something if only the head was filled with glowing emptiness, and the hand did not reach for the suit. It may be disgusting to say this on my part, but we are lucky that one psychopath after another appears. And if it hadn't been? All superheroes would have chewed each other's throats long ago in an effort to get that exorbitant dose of hormones in their heads.
— And even this does not justify my escape, — I muttered with a heavy groan, — now, having thought everything over adequately, I realized that nothing out of the ordinary happened that day. I knew perfectly well that you and Tony were lovers. Damn… My spider sense allowed me to identify worse things. It just looked so wrong because of Loki that I couldn't get my head around what it was like.… In short, I really freaked out at that moment. It's just infuriating. Everyone is running around with me like with a crystal. And I can't shut the damn Flash up by saying that his college girls are nothing compared to you.
— And what the fuck is this from the hill? — leaning on the command console, Natasha raised a red eyebrow questioningly.
— Well, if I correctly understood the rhetoric of the question you asked, then this is my classmate, — I shook my head. — If there was an opportunity, I would punch him in such a way that no doctor would put his teeth in his place. Because of him, my school life resembles hell on earth. Honestly, sometimes I want to ask one of the villains to accidentally kill him while Spider-Man was sorting out the fasteners on a brand-new suit.
— What did the dear one manage to annoy you with? she raised an eyebrow.
"Don't make fun of me," I said with a heavy sigh. — I can't just say in front of everyone that I am the hero and savior of everything on earth – Spider-Man! This asshole is mocking me for a simple story that I've been interning with Stark for what a month. And if he realizes that I have a private room here, unlimited access and the whole superhero fraternity at a glance – do you think he will leave me alone?
— Then deal with him like Peter Parker, not like Spider-Man, — the red—haired beauty stretched her lips in a smile, - come and hit him so that he flew to the other wall. This will not be the superiority of a superhero over a person, it will be the usual showdown of two teenagers. As long as you let him dominate you, he will get a buzz from it. I've already said that. Such instincts are inherent in everyone. Satisfying one's desires by humiliating the weak and those who are unable to fight back. As soon as you put him in his place, you will get up one step and stop being interesting to him.
— Okay, it's all lyrics, — shrugging my shoulders, I tried not to think about the bad. "Will Stark kill me?" Or will it cost only a spanking? Thor got carried away then…
— No one is going to kill you, — she laughed at my statement, — Tony is not a psychotic maniac, you just hurt his ego. And he has it, as you know, the most vulnerable part in the body. Just talk and apologize to him and everything will be fine. Well, maybe he'll caress you a little with a belt, but don't compare yourself with Thor, Stark understands the boundaries of what is allowed and won't overdo it.
— Somehow it still doesn't sound very happy, - looking at the ball in her hands, I thought that I could escape back.
"Pete, if you keep running like this, you'll only make it worse for yourself," Natasha said, as if reading my thoughts, "Anthony is still a scoundrel, but today you have the opportunity to get off with only a slight fright.
— What kind of opportunity? — I immediately seized on the thread of reasoning.
— If I didn't have a backup plan, I wouldn't take such a risk, — the woman grinned, — in addition to Loki, Strange is our guest today. Therefore, when these two beings collide on the same plane, a chemical reaction usually occurs, more powerful than a supernova explosion. And under this case, Stark will forgive you, me, and Friday, and the whole series of endless psychos, just to watch from the front row how this time bomb detonates.
— It turns out I need to get exactly at the time when everything will only reach the boiling point, — I nodded understandingly, — "Friday", keep an eye on the situation and let me know when it will be possible to move out.
—I'm afraid you're already late," a metallic voice rang out, "I told you I should have gone right away as soon as I reported that Miss Romanoff was looking for you."
— "Friday", at what stage of undress they are now, — Natasha was wary.
— So far everything is decent, but it's already coming to jackets, coats, raincoats and everything that gets in the way, — the AI informed us.
— Damn it! The redhead hissed softly. — So, Peter, get your feet in your hands and go, "Friday" will show you where they have made their nest. Remember, you fly in and start saying from the threshold that you realized what an idiot you are and that you don't deserve forgiveness and in general Stark has the right to beat all the crap out of you and you won't even resist. After that, theatrically wring your hands and ask what space strategy they have come up with.
— So they're not discussing her there, — I blinked, stunned.
— That's the beauty of such a question, — a woman's hand with a delay went down my ass, — let's not slow down, if they are shirtless, they may not look that they promised not to touch you until you turn eighteen. So to the barricades, while there is a chance to get off with a slight fright and a bashful blush on the cheeks.
— Thank you for your help, — I bloomed like a May rose.
— You will have to, — and leaning almost close to me, she whispered softly in my ear, — I will be the first to congratulate you on your birthday. And now don't slow down, time is not rubber. And in front of your woman, I'll cover you. She won't look.
— Uh-huh, — and realizing that actually pulling is not an option, I rushed out of the room.
My heart was beating wildly in my chest, and I understood that Natasha had calculated all this so clearly that she could be safely recorded in the strategists. And even if her motives were not clear to me, I agree to be patient until everything normalizes. If it really works and I don't get more than necessary from Stark, then who is there and what will congratulate me, I don't care! If only now my long-suffering fifth point, looking for trouble for the rest of the body, remained intact and relatively unharmed.
A smile spread across his lips by itself and the day ceased to seem like a complete tragedy. To be completely honest, I could have stayed for a couple of minutes until the process reaches the shirt. Ninety days is not such a big tragedy to panic and be nervous about losing my virginity, and who even had this bad idea - to wait until I come of age. Obviously Stark, or Steve... though? She could have been Natasha herself, who was now playing with all of us like a sly fox and leading us by the nose. Well, I'll wait and see!
