When the world around crumbles into dust, and darkness seems endless, when the pull of the bottomless pit of despair is insurmountable, and life is an unbearable living hell full of pain and misery, all you need to do is say "please". And who knows, maybe your angel will hear your plea and come. It is the end of Hermione's sixth year at Hogwarts and Severus Snape is one breath away from taking his own life. Will anybody hear how fast his heart thrums its last beats?

First of all. Since this site doesn't have all of the needed tags, I'm going to list the remaining here: 1) This work describes an extensive use of a Time Turner. 2) Aged up character is Hermione. 3) She is also slightly BAMF, though not in a magical sense. And as usual: THIS FIC CONTAINS SOME PRETTY DARK AND DISTURBING THEMES AND IMAGES, SO CAREFULLY CONSIDER IF YOU SHOULD READ IT. (I know that I'm repeating myself, but better safe than sorry) Some day this fic will turn into a series, because I'm planning to write several one-shots, describing scenes that I deleted from here because they weren't really relevant to the main storyline, or some snippets from Hermione and Severus' future.
