Chapter 1: Red Carnation

Settings
Notes:
The beautiful white petals turned into a crimson red as he walked. The red blood has already stained the grass before the boy sat down. The grass pressed into the dirt as he admired the flower before him. `The Child´ that almost everyone called him, has always found flowers to be rather lovely he wouldn´t dare to say that though, at least not in the past anyway. The gorgeous petals were always calming to look at. Not to mention, the young boy - who goes by the name Tommy - had without fail found himself in contact of his own garden or a flower field. The feeling just gives him nostalgia, as he did most gardening in L´Manburg, the country that later exploded because of his older brother, also known as the founder and ruler of that was once an astonishing land. But every good memory, every good place, every good thing must come to an end..., right... ? He was only what...- 8 or 9... ? War after war they fought, but it was never enough for the enemy, the puppet master and his `friends´, or the Dream Team as they like to call themselves. They wanted power and success, not success and an agreement upon winning. The vise-presidents finest treasure, a disc worth his own heart Tommys own heart. The disc in the mans the child's opinion were everything to him, but as it was an attachment to him, he couldn´t help but be a little frustrated and angry at himself for letting him do such a thing. He wanted the disc back, but with none to help the young boy there was nothing he could do besides sitting on the sidelines, working his ass off with paperwork all day long until he passed out from exhaustion. The only time he was outside of the office was then he had to take care of his young niece, Fundy. They would play around and even eat together most of the time. Not even his niece father had time for him, so Tommy became some sort of father figure to the younger. But enough about that, as Tommy admired the flowers he sat with his back at a very special tree. A tree that was there for every moment of their life, "The Xerochrysum tree" as he like to call it. "Look it up" he snarled then the others questioned the name. The wind was surprisingly calm today, maybe Lady Prime was finally taking pity on the poor blonde boy. The blue-eyed boy who was once revived from his own death, his childhood forcibly taken from him, his life, his everything. Why is he even alive, he should be dead, he should be- He was taken aback then a hand laid on his shoulder, how long had he been spacing out? "H-hi..?" said a hesitant voice from his side. He recognized the owner of the voice in an instant. He could never forget that ginger heady, even if he tried. "Hello Fundy, how are you this fine evening?" Tommy said with a small smile on his face. The last war had taken his eyesight from him so it was no matter if he looked up or not, he could never see those who he loved ever again. "..Uhm, can I.. sit down.. maybe?" he ignored the question, not having seen the elder in a long time and wanting to catch up.
