Strawberry in Caramel

There lived two sisters - Caramel and Condensed Milk. They were practically no different in appearance: both were short, both had reddish freckles on their cheeks. The sisters differed only in the color of their hair (Caramel’s was reddish, and Condensed Milk’s was light wheat), and the fact that Caramel was much more successful than Condensed Milk, and she was jealous of her and tried in every possible way to prove that she is no worse than her sister. “Why is she always lucky?” — Condensed Milk was indignant. - “Even Strawberry, and she fell in love with my sister! Why her?” Let's talk about the Strawberry that Condensed Milk mentioned. Strawberry was a tall girl, about 173 centimeters tall, and her head was adorned with dark red, almost red hair, with darker roots. Strawberry was very fond of red, black and white, and constantly wore things of these colors, most often black or red. She also wore glasses. Overall, Strawberry was a pretty nice girl, kind and caring, and if you looked into her brown-green eyes, you could see that they sparkled. However, Condensed Milk did not suffer defeat for long. One day, Caramel, in a fit of vague sadness, accidentally dyed her hair dark brown. It was then that Condensed Milk triumphed. Wheat also liked Strawberry, and she decided to go to her. “Let me replace Caramel! We are no different in appearance! Strawberry won’t even understand that something is wrong!” - Condensed Milk decided, rubbing her hands, and, without hesitation, went to Strawberry. As expected, the red one did not seem to notice the substitution, and happily accepted the Condensed Milk, which inside itself was already celebrating the victory with might and main. However, the poor thing did not understand what mistake she was making... The first days everything was fine, Strawberry still didn’t notice the substitution. But on the third day, Condensed Milk revealed herself. She began to behave rather rudely towards Strawberry, constantly snapped and got angry at her for no reason, and humiliated her. Poor Strawberry realized late what she had done and realized that it was not Caramel in front of her, but her sister. No matter how much the red one tried to persuade Condensed Milk to leave her, she always received a rude refusal, and sometimes even a blow. The unfortunate woman had no choice but to silently obey and retreat. Strawberry no longer knew what to do. The harmful Condensed Milk continued to torment her, but she was powerless. “Forgive me, Caramel... Forgive me if you can... I realized my mistake too late...” — thought Strawberry sadly. After living with Condensed Milk for two weeks, Strawberry, previously so cheerful and positive, began to often feel sad and cry... She cried only at night, so as not to show her emotions to the evil Condensed Milk. Along with her emotions, Strawberry's appearance also deteriorated - her hair slowly turned from reddish to dark brown, almost black, and lost all beauty. So, from a pretty red-haired girl, Strawberry turned into a plain-looking black-haired girl, with constantly disheveled hair and eyes red from tears. Noticing such a change, Condensed Milk became furious and decided to leave Strawberry, not suspecting that this would only break her heart even more. But wheat didn't care about that. On the contrary, she wanted it. “Strawberry... What a freak she is! And why did I contact her? Should I say goodbye to her? I’ve never heard anything more stupid!” — thought Condensed Milk, moving away from Strawberry's house. — “She doesn't deserve this. Let her experience such pain as she has never experienced before! What was on her mind? Oh yes, love! Love… Oh, it’s disgusting to even hear this word! Stupid, naive Strawberry! However, no better than my sister. So, let's see how they accept each other now, ha!” — With these thoughts, Condensed Milk left Strawberry forever. And the red one sat and waited, not even suspecting how cruelly she had been betrayed and abandoned... Strawberry, who was tormented by her conscience, decided to find Caramel and apologize to her. Having left as is, Strawberry went in search of her beloved. Not paying attention to the sidelong glances of passers-by, she walked forward. Suddenly, the red one noticed Caramel, and she, in turn, noticed her, Strawberry. Both were horrified to see each other. Caramel did not recognize his beautiful dark cherry lover, and Strawberry did not recognize his reddish freckled Caramel. Both of them were not in the best condition, and to be honest, they didn’t look very good. They both thought that their life would remain sad and terrible, but Caramel decided to change everything at all costs, and took the problems upon herself, trying to fix everything. Days passed. Slowly, Strawberry acquired its former reddish hue, and its former positivity returned again. But Caramel... Caramel remained the same as the spoiled Strawberry greeted it. Happy Strawberry, when she saw Caramel, was very happy, and she had an obsessive feeling of excitement in front of her. But Caramel had no intention of helping herself by that point. And she didn’t want to please anyone at all. And at one (not very) wonderful moment, she decided to run away from everyone, so that no one knew about her, no one remembered her, and no one saw her. Having considered her decision, Caramel said goodbye to Strawberry and quickly walked out of her sight. Strawberry, who was expecting the hugs Caramel always gave her, was very shocked. There was clearly something wrong with Caramel, and it was urgent to find out what happened. Strawberry, plucking up her courage, dialed Caramel's number. — What's happened? Why did you leave me, and so soon? — I cured you, helped you, but I can’t help myself! I hate it! — Caramel screamed angrily and hung up. Strawberry was in shock and stood in a stupor from what she heard, and could not find suitable emotions to describe all this. She simultaneously wanted to kill Caramel, thinking that it was cruel of her to leave her without even properly explaining what was going on. On the other hand, she really wanted to hug Caramel and forget about everything, what's happened. At that time, Caramel was packing her things to get away from everything, and looked at her phone, where there was a notification with an SMS from Strawberry: " What happened to you? I really want to help you, and I miss you... I’m very worried about you!” Caramel did not warm up at all from this message, but on the contrary, she became even more angry and wrote: "I am empty space! Do you still dare to complain to me that everything is bad for you?! Do you have a conscience? But now, I have absolutely nothing to lose. I’m packing my things and leaving immediately so you can live to your satisfaction. I won’t bother you anymore with my existence.” Strawberry wanted to immediately rush to Caramel and kiss her, but she was immediately overcome by doubt. Doubt often dissuaded Strawberry from doing anything. No matter how much she tried to overcome it, nothing worked. Strawberry understood with bitterness that without the support of Caramel, nothing would work out for her, and would never work out. She understood that she was completely dependent on freckled Caramel, who was driving her crazy. Having collected her things and got into a taxi, Caramel looked at her phone again, where she saw the inscription: “5 missed calls from user: Strawberry🍓💜”. But Caramel didn’t show it, simply erasing these notifications. However, finally, she decided to look at the photographs with Strawberry, which were taken long before leaving. Leafing through them, Caramel realized that she was not just a friend. These two were brought together not only by friendship and love, but also by affection. At this time, Strawberry simply could not find a place for herself, and firmly decided to go to the airport for Caramel. While Caramel was checking in for the flight, Strawberry mysteriously arrived at the airport and began looking for Caramel. Luckily, she was easily recognizable in a crowd: she had a flashy, colorful style, was short, and had a lot of trinkets on her arms and neck. While trying to dial Caramel, Strawberry accidentally dropped her phone from her hands. As she bent down to pick it up, she noticed a soft purple hoodie and rainbow sneakers. These sneakers were special because Strawberry herself embroidered the rainbow heart on them. The honey-caramel crown disappeared into the crowd of foreigners who simply did not allow passage. Somehow squeezing through them, Strawberry noticed something similar to Caramel’s earring. So, Strawberry again decides to look for Caramel with her eyes, and in the end the attempt was crowned with success. While Caramel was standing in line for the plane that was about to land... …Strawberry, stumbling, ran to her soul mate, whom she could lose once and for all. She miraculously managed to run to her and hug her tightly from behind. — Why did you decide to leave me so quickly? — Strawberry asked quietly. — What's the point of living with you if I can't even help myself? Explain it to me, please! — Caramel answered rudely. Then, she looked so intently into Strawberry's eyes that she became embarrassed and blushed bright red. Strawberry immediately looked away and began to be distracted by foreign objects and noises in order to calm down. However, Caramel continued to look at poor Strawberry straight into the soul, in which a serious storm was breaking out, because of love... But there was one problem - Caramel was late for her flight, so she stood up and said: — I need to go, I'm already delayed... — Having said this, she turned around and walked. Strawberry turned her gaze to Caramel’s retreating back, and the ground collapsed under her feet. In fact, Caramel decided to play a little prank on Strawberry, who already had tears in her eyes. Slowly leaving and looking back, Caramel has already managed to forgive everyone and everything. However, Strawberry's reaction was unpredictable: the red one stood up, showed a heart made of fingers, and hurried to the exit from the airport...
