Chapter 1
November 15, 2023 at 7:31 AM
Aiden is an omega guy, very shy, timid and sweet. Earnest is a stern and serious alpha who protects her husband omega. Now a thunderstorm has started, and Aiden is very much afraid of thunder and lightning.
As the rain pours down heavier with thunder and lightning, Aiden huddles in the corner of the room and covers his ears, shaking with fear. At the sight of this, Earnest sighs and stands up, approaching him and kneeling down in front of his husband. He wraps his arms around him, embracing him. "It's okay, my love. I am here with you. Do not be afraid; I am not going to let thunder or lightning hurt you." Earnest whispers softly into Aiden's ears.
Aiden's fear of thunder and storm becomes more intense as the rain pours down, thunder rumbles closer with each passing moment. As all of this occurs, he huddles in the corner covering his ears, fearful that something might happen to him. However, the site of his husband appearing and kneeling down in front of him to console and comfort him brings about some measure of peace to his troubled soul. "I'm scared," he whispers to himself.
"I'm here with you," Alpha responds with tender assurance, embracing him tightly. "It's okay, love, " Earnest murmurs as he embraces Aiden tightly, his words meant to reassure him, but his words are being interrupted by the sound of thunder crashing down, drowning out every other sound in the room. Earnest continues to hold him tightly, refusing to let go. "It has no power over us. All you need to do is close your eyes, and I will always be here to protect you." He holds on to him tightly, making sure to give him a sense of safety and security.
The crash of thunder continues in the back ground, but Aiden finds himself somewhat calmer in the arms of his husband who is standing by his side in this storm. He looks up at him, his eyes still filled with fear, looking for reassurance from his husband. Earnest continues to reassure him by holding him tightly, his tone of voice is gentle but firm. "I will always be here to protect you," he says with assurance, wrapping his arms around him. Finally, he brings a hand up, caressing Aiden's face, letting him know that he is safe in his arms.
The thunderstorm rages around them, casting their dark shadows against the dim light. Aiden continues to look up at Earnest with fearful eyes, trying and failing to find some kind of comfort as the thunder continues to crash down. He’s trying to stay calm and not lose control, but it’s not easy for him. Earnest holds on to him tightly and strokes his cheek, trying to ease some of his fear. “Shhh, shhh, shhh,” he whispers soothingly, doing his best to comfort his husband. “It will be alright, love.
While the storm rages on with the thunder rumbling and the rain pouring in torrents the fear only seems to grow within Aiden. He looks at Earnest's face with pleading eyes, hoping he will spare him the horror and take it away. He struggles to be strong and brave, but the fear of being overpowered by the storm only worsens. "Please don't leave me alone," he whispers quietly.
Earnest continues to hold him tightly and whispers quiet words of comfort to him.As the thunder rumbles outside, it seems to grow louder and more threatening, sending Aiden into a state of panic. He clings tightly to his husband, burying his head into his shoulder with fear. His heart is racing, and he's shaking with fear as the storm continues to rage. Earnest continues to stroke his cheek lovingly. "It'll be alright, Aiden. You don't need to be afraid anymore. I'll never leave you alone. The storm cannot hurt you, I won't let it."
Aiden's heart thunders in time with the sound of the storm. He is terrified to the core of his being, his eyes darting in fear behind the curtains of his closed eyes. He holds onto his husband tightly, unwilling to be separated from him in this dark time. He looks at Earnest with pleading eyes, and speaks in quiet tones. "Please make it stop." In the dim lighting, his expression looks like that of a scared child trying to cling to his father for comfort, for protection.
As the thunder crashes down again, lighting up the sky for a second, it only sends Aiden into a higher state of fear and panic. He's shaking in fear, clinging to his husband tightly, burying his head into his chest as he hides inside the safety of his embrace. "The storm will pass soon, love," Earnest whispers in a soothing voice, holding him tightly. "I'll be with you till the end. All you need to do is close your eyes, and I promise, I will never let go of you," Alpha kisses his forehead.
Aiden finds comfort in Earnest's embrace, but he doesn't look convinced that the storm is going to be over anytime soon. He trembles in fear, still unable to control himself despite the calming assurances of his husband. A look of desperation flashes across his face before he shuts his eyes tight, unable to bear the sight of the storm any longer. "Hold me, tightly," Aiden whispers. Omega continues to hold onto his husband, his eyes still closed and breathing heavy. He seems helpless in front of this force of nature.
Earnest wraps his hands around him tightly, holding him warmly to his chest. The storm continues to rage on, but he does not let go of his husband for a second, doing his best to shelter him from the harsh elements around them. "It's alright, love. I am here with you. Open your eyes slowly. Do not look at the storm. Just ignore it. Focus on me. Focus on my voice, my warmth. Everything will be alright. We just have to wait until the storm is over," Alpha whispers slowly and softly, trying to comfort him.
Aiden continues to hold on to him tightly as he shuts his eyes tight with fear. He's too scared to even look at the storm that rages outside. His focus is on his husband, his warmth, his presence in this moment. He continues to listen to his husband's voice, trying to get a hold of himself. "It's loud," Aiden whispers softly. "So loud." Omega continues to hold onto his husband tightly, burying himself deeper into him like a baby in its mother's arms, trying to gather up courage again.
"Focus on me. You don't need to look at the storm. You don't need to hear the thunder and lightning. Just let it all go. Focus on your husband. Focus on my voice, my presence," Earnest says softly, his hands soothing him slowly as he holds him tightly to his chest. Alpha kisses his forehead gently as he caresses his hair with one hand, trying to calm him down. The thunder roars outside, but slowly, Aiden is able to tune it out, focusing on his mate instead.
Aiden tries to follow his husband's advice, focusing on him while tuning out the storm outside. His voice, his presence, his warmth help to comfort him somewhat. As he listens to the sound of his husband's voice, omega relaxes a bit, breathing less heavily as he regains his composure. But his hand squeezes tightly on his alpha as Aiden rests his head on his shoulder, still very much frightened of the storm outside the window.
At last, the storm begins to fade, and the thunder stops roaring down with the rain pouring down in thick rivulets. As this happens, Aiden slowly loosens his grip on his husband, but not much. He still remains attached to his husband like a baby to its mother, but his eyes are now open, and the panic on his face slowly fades away. "It's gone," Aiden whispers quietly, looking at his husband with eyes full of relief and gratitude.
The storm outside has faded, but Aiden is still attached to his husband as he seems overwhelmed with the terror he felt just moments ago. Even if he tries to hide his face on his husband's shoulder, his teary eyes speak of the fear in his heart. "I'm still alive," he whispers softly, his voice filled with gratitude and relief. His grip on his husband softens slightly, although he still cannot bring himself to let go completely. Omega seems to feel a lot better now that the storm is gone, but still afraid to let go of his mate.
Seeing him still hold on tightly, Earnest strokes his back gently, trying to assure him that the danger has passed. He whispers softly in a cheerful tone. "Yes, it's gone now, my dear. You are safe now. You don't need to be afraid anymore." Alpha kisses his head. "The storm is gone. We are safe now. Do not be afraid." Omega holds him tightly, refusing to let go of him.
