Chapter 2 *birthday*

Settings
Today, June 20, 2002, in 5 days Taka will turn 11 years old, and there is only one year left before the death of the man in his dream. Take has already decided to come up with a plan to save him. Michi saw two people in his dream. Unfortunately, it was night, and people’s faces were not visible, although Take saw the place where the murder would take place. Waking up, Michie immediately went to his room after breakfast to think over the details of the plan. First, it was necessary to make a decision, would Take meet that man from the dream or would he simply save him, and then, as if nothing had happened, would he live his life again, without making past mistakes? After weighing all the pros and cons, it was decided to leave everything to chance. It will be good if he makes friends with that guy, and even if not, then there is nothing wrong with that, because anyway he will be alive. Five days passed completely unnoticed, and then the long-awaited moment of Michi’s birthday arrived. Having deliberately gotten up before his mother, Michie immediately jumped out of bed, even despite the time, and ran to the kitchen with a loud stomp. He stopped in the doorway, since he still could not get ahead of Miluni. The mother, already standing at the stove, was busy preparing food for her son’s birthday. Turning around, the woman saw her little happiness and, smiling, called to the table, on which, instead of a birthday cake or at least an omelet, there was tasteless oatmeal. Sitting down at the table, Take first looked at the clock, which showed 9:38. “That’s why mom has already woken up,” thought the blue-eyed man until Miluni spoke. - “Michi-chan, good morning and happy birthday,” - at these words Michi just looked at his mother with sad eyes. “I’m sorry that we’re having oatmeal for breakfast now, but in the evening we’ll eat cake,” after these words, the woman turned around and continued cooking. “Mom...” the son somehow sadly turned to his mother. - “Yes, Michi-chan?” - Miluni asked, because she had not seen her sun so sad for a long time. This meant something serious. - “Mom, we’ll celebrate alone, right?” “It was even a little scary for Michie to realize that at that age he had no friends at all. Of course, Take was glad to spend the day with his mother, but after the birthday she will again be away for a long time for work, and all this time he will be alone. - “Oh... Michi-chan, if you want, I can persuade my aunt to come. I think she can take a break from work. At least for your birthday...” Miluni suggested, but she said the last sentence almost in a whisper. But that's not what Michie meant. He wanted to find a friend of the same age, but he didn’t want to invite his aunt either. He doesn’t have a very good relationship with her, although it’s not that he doesn’t love her, it’s just that he would rather spend the whole day only with his mother than with his aunt and mother. - "There is nothing. There’s no need to call her, the two of us will have a great time!” - Michi barely finished this hated porridge. While Miluni was preparing everything for the holiday, Michie sat in the room, looking at the wall. He wondered why he had so spontaneously decided to save someone whom he most likely would not meet in person even after being saved. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. - “Michi-chan, a surprise awaits you!” - Miluni sang cheerfully through the slightly open door, thereby forcing Takemichi to get out of bed, because... Who doesn’t like gifts? Already in the living room, the boy saw a room decorated in the corporate birthday style. There was a “happy birthday” sign hanging above the TV, and there were a lot of helium balloons. They were all flying near the ceiling. In fact, it was clear how hard the mother tried to please her son, because she knew that tomorrow she would be at work for a long time again, and her sun would be sad alone. She wanted to have a fun day with her son. - “Michi-chan, sit down. “I’ll bring a gift now,” the woman invited the boy to sit on the sofa, and she went into her room. While Michie waited, he looked around the entire room. The guy focused his attention on the watch and was a little surprised. It was already 17:09, he didn't think he had been sitting in the room for so long. - “Michi-chan, I’m here!” - the woman sang, stretching out each vowel, entering the room with a small box in wrapping paper. Already opening the box with the gift, Takemichi was in anticipation. What is going to be there? To be honest, he himself didn’t know what he wanted, but he would be happy with any gift. Opening the box, Hanagaki saw a beautiful gold pendant with green clover. It really was beautiful and looked exactly like the pendant that he gave to Hinata in a previous life when they first met. The rest of the evening was fun and the cake was delicious. It was the perfect birthday for Michie, as he hadn't celebrated it with someone in a long time before he "died" as an adult. He was alone. Already lying on the bed, Takemichi was sleeping. He, like all those six days, dreamed of the death of that guy.
