It was worth a try!

      “Chris!” Sam playfully shouted and threw a small couch pillow at her husband. “Stop kidding, I'm serious”       “So am I serious!” laughed Evans, dodging the flying object. “Why are you throwing things at me?”       “Because Kenmore, Back Bay, and Mattapan are not names for our future son, but names of districts in your silly Boston!” the girl replied, comically puffing up her chubby lips and cheeks.       Sam and Chris had been married for a whole year and were expecting their first child. For nine months, they had been unable to choose a name for their future baby.       “It's modern, you just don't understand!” the man replied cheerfully, once again dodging the flying pillow.       “You're unbearable.” Sam said quietly, trying to hide her smile.       “But you love me for it.”       Chris slowly approached the couch and sat next to Sam, starting to gently massage her shoulders. Somehow, they naturally began to reminisce about all the events, all the time spent together, which led them to this moment. They recalled the awkward first meeting on the set of a movie, the first failed date on the ocean shore, the first kiss, the first night, the first vacation, meeting friends and parents, the first argument, the first reconciliation, the first public appearance, and the first timid confession of love. Love lives in the heart and is born in moments that forever remain in memory, warming people on cold evenings. They intended to give their firstborn all these memories and all the love that lived in their hearts throughout his life because now, somehow, right now, in this moment of playful banter, they realized that they were truly happy, forever.       “I knew right away that you were the one.” Chris said, kissing his wife on the top of her head and burying his nose in a heap of her soft hair.       “You do understand that I'm still against naming our son Kenmore, Back Bay, or Mattapan, right?” Sam mischievously said, after which the living room echoed with the happy laughter of two loving people.       “It was worth a try!” Through laughter, Evans said, considering himself the happiest man in the world.
