Loki...

The ball in the golden palace of Asgard shimmered and sparkled as usual, echoing with the sound of merry laughter, vibrant attire, and small magical fireworks adorning the wine glasses.       Loki animatedly and cheerfully conversed with Thor and Sif, while I sat nearby, sipping that same wine amidst bursts of colorful fireworks. I sat there, contemplating how in one moment, life could turn 180 degrees swiftly and without warning. Throughout my life, starting from the conscious age of six, I thought my handsome prince would be a magnificent, tall, fair-haired, and unparalleled knight of Asgard, but everything turned out differently.       I am not a seer, and I never consulted them; it was difficult for me to anticipate, let alone realize, that the person with whom I would eventually want to share my endlessly long life would be someone entirely different. Someone with a mass of jet-black hair, a sly smile, and a decidedly different perspective on life.       Before him, I woke up every day with dreams of an entirely different person, but, as it turned out, while dreaming of one, you eventually find happiness with another.       Laughing loudly, Loki looked at me. Our gazes met, and he smiled at me so damn warmly and tenderly that my heart skipped a beat. I blew him an air kiss and took another sip of wine from my sparkling glass.       Perhaps, at that very moment, I realized what love is. That I love Loki.       A beautiful melody of one of the Midgard songs echoed through the hall. Will you still love me When I'm no longer young and beautiful?       I watched the joyful Loki, heard his cheerful laughter, and was sure that he loved me as well. That he would love me in sickness and in health, in riches and in poverty, in youth and in old age, or however that Midgard vow goes, promising that not even death would part two lovers.

“What is the most beautiful woman in the world thinking about?” Loki's mischievous voice pulled me out of the sweet depths of memories.       Approaching, the man sat down next to me and kissed the top of my head, to which I could only smile sweetly.       “Hmmm...” I pondered “I was just reminiscing about the moment I realized I love you.”       “And when did you realize you love me?” Loki quietly asked, tenderly embracing me around the waist and resting his hands on my rounded belly.       “At the ball in honor of Asgard's salvation.”       “Do you know when I realized you are my first and only love?”       “Mmm...” I replied, trying to snuggle closer to my beloved man.       “When you first called me by my name.” Loki answered.       I chuckled in surprise and looked at Loki.       “How so?”       “Very simple. Throughout your life, billions of people call you by your name millions of times, but only one person can say your name incredibly uniquely, making your heart beat even faster.”       “Loki...”
