And so, having agreed on a meeting with Germany, Russia stood and thought about how best to inform Germany about the problem. Lost in his thoughts, the Russian did not even notice how a German appeared a meter away from him.
Germany was shorter than Russia and reached up to his chin. His hair was pure black, but what attracted more attention were his amber eyes, which appeared yellow in the light of day. The guy was dressed in his work uniform, namely a business suit. On top of this, the guy was wearing a dark coat, the length of which reached to his knees, and this made him look even more businesslike.
“Ahem-ahem...” the German coughed in order to attract the attention of the Russian, who was too lost in thought.
“Oh, Herman, I’m sorry, I didn’t notice you...” the Russian didn’t flinch, but his eyes widened from the fact that someone came so close to him unnoticed. “I’m glad you were able to come so quickly,” the Russian smiled at the guy with nervousness in his eyes.
“No need for gratitude,” the German closed his eyes and smiled at the corners of his lips. “So what did you want to discuss?” - one of the guy’s eyebrows immediately rose, and the second dropped to the bridge of his nose, which expressed his interest in the problem of the Russian.
- In fact, this is a long and complex story...
“Don’t worry, we have enough time,” the guy symbolically looked at his watch. - Well. So what happened to you?
- Well, in short, yesterday my father came to visit yours. According to Reich, they just drank coffee, the father felt sick and he went to sleep in the guest room, and in the morning he woke up as a child. The strangest thing about this is that at the beginning he still had his own mind, and after that his thinking very quickly dropped to the level of thinking of a child - the guy spoke with a certain concern in his voice, which his interlocutor could not help but notice.
- Well, quite an interesting case.. I think I can try to help you with something - Germany smiled at Russia and patted him on the shoulder in order to cheer up his friend.
-Can you really help? - a light of hope lit up in the Russian’s eyes and, straightening up, he looked at the German.
- I can’t promise anything, but, as they say, I’ll help in any way I can.
At these words, Ross immediately grabbed Germany by the hand and rushed back to the Reich house. Herman almost fell, but he was still lucky to stay on his feet and even follow Russia. Although reluctantly, the German ran after the Russian, who no longer saw anything in front of him, but only rushed like a locomotive to his destination. At that moment, Herman only thought that it was not at all necessary to run, he could walk. Undoubtedly, walking this way takes 15 minutes longer than if you run, but it’s better to walk calmly than to return while running.
And now they are already at their destination. Russia let go of his friend's hand and stopped abruptly in front of the Reich's house. I didn't expect such a sudden stop, Germany crashed into Russia's back and fell on his ass in the snow, while the Russian didn't even sway from the collision.
“Oh, sorry for stopping so abruptly,” Russia extended his hand to the German to help him get up. The German, in turn, accepted his friend’s help and rose from the ground.
“Nothing,” shaking off his ass, the German son followed the Russian, who headed to the Reich’s house.
Quickly rising to the second floor of the house and reaching the guest room in which the Nazi and the culprit of the commotion were located, Russia sharply opened the door, to which he received a surprised look from the Reich. Russia let Germany into the room ahead of him, and then entered himself. Through the eyes of Hera. The following picture appeared: a sleeping union was lying curled up on the bed, and Reich was sitting on a chair next to the bed, anxiously watching what was happening. The German son began to examine the child. The inspection was nothing special, but Herman immediately understood what was going on and it was clear from his gaze.
- Ger, so what’s wrong with him? - Russia asked, noticing his friend’s gaze.
“It has pupated,” Germany announced his verdict.
- What the heck? - Russia and the Reich asked in one voice, who did not understand what Germany meant.
- This is such a disease. - the brunette rolled his eyes at the fact that no one understood what he meant - In fact, you countries should be ashamed of not knowing what it is.. - catching the look of a la “Well, explain it,” German began his story. - This affects countries that are still alive, but their borders belong to other states or if these states have been replaced by a receiver. Unfortunately, your father, Russia, was lucky enough to get this disease. During this disease, states degrade to the state of children, after which they fall asleep and never wake up.
“It turns out my father is no longer...” Russia’s eyes immediately dimmed, the light of hope went out and tears began to well up.
It's a sad sight, there's no need to even argue about it. It is very painful to see a person who is about to lose someone who is dear to him. Even the heart of the Reich trembled at this sight.
- I think that something else can be done - Germany put his hand on Russia’s shoulder as support - Your father is still breathing, his heart is beating, and his blood is circulating. I think there is something else that can be done.
- Is it true? - Russia asked barely audibly.
“Of course,” Germany smiled at him, “But for this you need to leave the room,” Hera looked into Ross’s eyes, and then at the Reich.
As soon as they left the room, Germany began to cast magic. You can’t call it real witchcraft, but the guy studied to be a doctor and has been working as one for several years, so he knows what he needs to do.
A few minutes later the door to the guest room swung open. The six-year-old Union instantly ran out of the room, and after him Germany came out of the room and stood in the right doorway, leaning on the doorframe. The Little Council immediately ran up to the Reich and hugged his leg.
- Good morning, USSR - Russia looked at his child-father with tenderness.
- Hello Russia! - the boy ran up to his son (?) and hugged the guy who was already squatting down by the neck. Ross, in turn, hugged Union and stood with him in his arms.
- Thank you very much, Germany - Russia smiled very sincerely at his friend, and his eyes shone with happiness - I am greatly indebted to you.
“Nothing, it’s my job,” Germany smiled and closed his eyes, watching his adult son and his father, who had become a child.
- Reich! - the child sitting in Russia’s arms pulled his hands towards the Nazi. Russia placed the child in the arms of the German father and leaned his back against the wall. - I want to go for a walk! Let's go for a walk!
- Eh... What a fidget... - Reich sighed - Well, let's get dressed and go for a walk.
- Listen, Hera, is there any way to make my father normal?
“Hmm, well, yes, there is,” the guy thought for a bit before giving an answer.
-What happiness! - Russia exhaled joyfully - What kind of method?
-Your father needs to spend enough time with his father, that is, with your grandfather. Then, presumably, the USSR will evolve back into an adult man. - Germany proudly adjusted his glasses and turned his gaze to Russia.
- Is there any other way? It’s just that my father doesn’t love my grandfather at all, but my grandfather loves him very much.
- Unfortunately, I don’t know this, but if there is at least some way, then it’s better to try it than to do nothing.
“Yeah, you’re right about that,” Russia closed his eyes and grinned. - Then I’ll go call my grandfather.
- Certainly.
After leaving German society, Russia went into the guest room and went out onto the balcony to light a cigarette and dial for his grandfather. He took a pack of “N” brand cigarettes from his pants pocket and took one out and lit it. Having put away the lighter with which he set fire to the cigarette, he took out his phone and dialed the contact “Grandfather Major”, simultaneously thinking about what he would say to his grandfather.
Meanwhile, the Russian Empire was sitting on an armchair in his mansion and drinking wine, reading a newspaper telling about events in the world of countries. Next to the red velvet chair, decorated with gold carvings, there was a marble table, which was also decorated with gold. On the table there was an old telephone, but still functioning well. This became clear when the phone rang.
Hearing the phone ringing, RI looked from the newspaper to the phone. Before picking up the phone, the man thought through all the possible options for people who could call him.
“I’m listening to you,” said the empire, picking up the phone.
“Hello, grandfather, this is Russia,” the eyes of the empire widened upon hearing the voice of a loved one.
- Oh, hello, grandson. I'm so glad to hear from you! How much time has passed since our last telephone conversation, and how much has passed since our last meeting!
“Yes, dudushka, you’re right here...” said Russia with a smile and, taking a long time, continued the conversation. - You know... I'm calling for a reason. Something's happened here and we need your help...
- So you still decided to become the heir to my property? It’s a good decision, grandson, otherwise you keep denying and denying, and by the way, I’m going to die soon, it’s not fitting to give everything to a stranger, here it’s necessary for someone close. I will prepare all the necessary documents, and in the meantime, pack your suitcases and come to me. - Empire was already daydreaming.
- No, grandpa, you don’t understand. It’s not good for my father here, he needs your help.
- My God! What happened to him? - the man gets worried.
- He fell ill with a disease in which countries become children and die.
- What a horror! What's wrong with him now? How is he? I hope he didn’t fall asleep - fear was heard in RI’s voice and anxiety.
- Now everything is fine with him, Germany helped us. If it weren’t for him, my father would be sleeping now, and what’s worse, he might have already died. But now everything is really fine with him - Russia looked at the threshold of the Reich house and saw that the Nazis and the alliance had already gone out into the street. - We are now at Reich’s house and he went for a walk with his father.
“I’m glad to hear that everything is fine with you,” the man exhaled. - Stop! The Reich went for a walk with the Union?
- Well, yes, Reich is now generally at his father’s beck and call. He does everything he is told.
- Ahah, time passes, but the Reich does not change, it has always followed the Union, so this is not surprising. - The Russian Empire grinned. - Okay, I'll help you. When they come back from a walk, let them pack the Union’s belongings, I’ll take him to me.
- Okay, thank you very much, grandpa! - Russia smiled and put out the butt of his cigarette on the snow lying on the railing of the balcony.
- Contact me, grandson, I hope to see you soon, goodbye.
- I hope so too, bye, grandpa.
After throwing the phone call, Russia walked back into the guest room, where he found Germany watching his father and his friend's little father walk. Sadness was clearly visible in the German's eyes. Gera told the Russian more than once that he was lucky with his father, unlike the German himself. Since childhood, Germany had been an empty place for my father, an eyesore. In principle, this is understandable. The father does not have the best character and most likely he did not even want to have children, what is the cost of their maintenance or the time spent on children. Therefore, Germany, having chosen a medical specialty, from childhood strived to be the best in his field and he achieved this. Now he is one of the best doctors in the world, but even this achievement did not make the father proud of his son. Herman was never angry with his father because of this, but in his soul he was always offended. Now, after so many years of separation, when father and son finally met, the Reich did not even hug Germany and now the German son is forced to watch what his father could have been like with him in childhood, if he had wanted, if he had loved his child...
- Well, Russia, have you talked to your grandfather? - Germany asked, looking up from the window.
- Yes, he agreed. He said that he would arrive after some time.
- Well that's just wonderful...
Meanwhile, the small Union and the Reich were on the street. It was time to play in the snow, because there was snow everywhere. The snowdrifts were the size of Soyuz, causing him to immediately jump into each of the snowdrifts and disappear under the snow. The Reich, in turn, every time took the child out of the snowdrift, while grumbling at him.
- Little rascal! - said the man, taking the child out of the snowdrift - It wasn’t enough to get sick! Who will treat you then? What am I?
- Whenever I get sick, I’ll be cured! - the child stuck out his tongue and ran to the next snowdrift.
- This is not how we work, you little pot-bellied little thing! - Reich objected and grabbed the child’s hand before he jumped into the snowdrift.
- Mhmhm! Let me in! I won't jump in the snow! Honestly!
Having received what he wanted, the boy ran around the Reich and jumped into a snowdrift behind the man.
-WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU LITTLE ASSHOLE!? - the Nazi got angry and immediately received a snowball in the forehead.
-Ahah! I saw how accurate I am! - the boy jumped out of the snowdrift and again ran behind him in order to make a new snowball that would fly safely to the Reich.
Just turning to the Union, the Reich received another snowball on its forehead. The fascist immediately began to growl, because it’s not very pleasant when there is snow all over your face, but the child, in turn, laughed and ran longer along the road. The child is having fun, what to take from him?
And so, another snowball is made and the communist is preparing to throw it at the fascist running to meet him, when suddenly a black foreign car flies out from around the corner and rushes at full speed towards the child. Quickening his run, Reich almost reached the Union to push him away from the car, but at the last second he did not have time. Suddenly the car opens and someone's hands pull the boy inside. Reich accelerated to catch up with the car, but did not have time, because the car with a drift turns into a corner and Reich remains nothing.
