That One Kiss

How does it feel? Fine? Good, even…  Remember how we have suddenly met? After so much time? In that club. What was it called? Of course. “Fairytale”.  You saw me in this ridiculous clothes they would made us wear every single day. Tiny sparkly shorts and this stupid golden tie that was just a piece of plastic. Piece of plastic hanging on my neck and reflecting the lights. Do you remember the colors?  Blue. Purple. Then blue again. Then purple.  They were flashing, at some point I was even a little bit blinded. And so were you, right? I remember seeing your face. You were so close to me. Too close, even… I saw your blue eyes. These baby blue eyes of yours. Wonderful, majestic. I swear, sometimes I get lost in them. Under your gaze. Annoyed, but never angry gaze.  You were never angry at me. Right?  I moved closer. What did you feel back then? I remember you shivering and taking a quick step back. You even cursed a little. I only smiled at you.  I didn’t say a word. Have I ever let you down? Look around. Look at this place we are standing in right now. You understand, right?  I remember your hand on my cheek. It felt warm. Your hands were always like that. That’s why you always hide them under your sleeves?  We kissed. In front of everybody. I’m grateful for nobody looking at us, but… if someone saw us, they would be jealous. Jealous of how perfect we are. I wish we could go back to this day, Mickey.  I want to kiss you there again. And I want everybody to watch us.
