Arc first “Snake loop” (Möbius). Chapter 1 “Bad manners”

Settings
Imaushi Misumi is a fifteen-year-old girl who lives on the outskirts of the special district of Nakano, next to Shibuya. She has a well-known brother, and thank God that only in one sense, but on the one hand, such a delusional blood relationship between these two individuals is known to a very narrow circle of people. A self-proclaimed martial arts genius, she has been practicing taekwondo for six years, with a little training in wushu, although she has not achieved significant results, she still has some skills. The period of elementary and middle school was probably the most active and productive part of her life, for the current Misumi succeeded only in the ability to be a first-class otaku and the knowledge of great and indestructible laziness. The reason is not so important, because most likely her entire current life was just a consequence of her true desires a couple of years ago, which transformed into the permanent way of life of Imaushi. Not to say that she is not happy about this - and she is glad too - she just needed an excuse for her, as she believes, one-time selfishness in her feelings. Sometimes a turning point can really be breaking and demolishing your entire habitual life at once.       This will be enough to know what will be discussed.              The warm summer rays were trying to slip out from under the curtains and show all the dust that was in the room where the girl was now snoring, lying in an embrace with a long pillow. The bedroom was so stuffy in the morning that an unaccustomed person could hang himself rather than withstand such stale air, but this did not bother the owner at all.       The ringing of the hated alarm clock rang across the entire square, forcing the girl to lazily open her eyes. If it were possible, this watch would already be lying cruelly broken on the floor, “killed” by the gaze of lavender eyes. There was nothing to do. Reaching out her hand and roughly hitting the thing with her palm, the girl whined protractedly from hopelessness.       Rising up on her elbows, she threw back the pillow that she had hugged before and glanced at the time: the clock showed half past eleven. Moaning tiredly again, she voiced the dream of many schoolchildren.       - Fuck school! Then you can still sleep... - Thoughtfully drawing out the last sentence, she came up with a verdict for herself, falling back onto the bed, simultaneously dragging her favorite pillow towards her.              It’s a pity, but someone very persistent, knocking on the front door of Imaushi’s apartment, didn’t allow to get the allotted three more hours of sleep. Embittered Misumi was ready to tear and throw, disembowel, dismember, and what other sophisticated tortures are there? The medieval ones would definitely fit in their concept. But she still went out wearing what she had. Pink shorts with a unicorn and an oversized dark T-shirt have been her faithful companions of home life from childhood to this day. She really wanted to scream, or better yet, beat the unlucky guy who kept knocking on the door all this time.       Desperate times, however.       And now the idea came to her to think, well, guess who it could be. The brother is immediately aware, because he knows how long she sleeps, especially since Waka always has the keys to the apartment with her. Next... And that's all. In principle, she doesn’t know anyone else who will show up at her home, and so persistently. And anyway, who the fuck is it?       - Have mercy on the door, I’m not fucking deaf! “She screamed at the top of her voice so that they would definitely hear, but then she added much quieter and more irritably, “Right now I’ll go out and fuck you right now.”       He pulls the door handle, turning the lock several times, and pushes forward. She blinks a little in the light, staring at the idiot already named in his head.       - What the hell do you need? — A girl of average height falls out of the doorway, yawning, rubbing her eyes, and looking very malicious.

Hanagaki Takemichi would never have thought that Mitsui's longtime acquaintance would be so... so much so that he couldn't find the words to describe it. He could not reconcile Ken and Manjiro for almost a week, completely despairing, Takemichi went to Takashi, since he, in his opinion, was both interested in reconciling the intolerable two, and could give some practical advice. In general, now I pinned my hopes on the smart commander of the second detachment. Only now, Hanagaki never expected that, for lack of a better option, he would be asked to go to his old, not yet forgotten, friend.       - Mm, that's how it is. — Already sitting at the table in the kitchen with Takemichi, she continued to nod into her cup of tea, conscientiously putting another one for her uninvited guest. - So what? If they quarreled, they'll fuck off and make up later.       - No! Everything is serious. You know why they quarreled, right? - Shakes his head negatively. - Fuck.       - What the fuck are you talking about? You got it yourself, tell me then. I'm not into gangs now.       - In general, due to the recent skirmish with Mobius, where Pachin stabbed Osanai, then voluntarily surrendered, Toman “split” into two. On those who want to free Pa, and those who support his opinion. Mikey is for the first, and Doraken believes that this is Pachin's choice. - The dyed-haired blond blurted out in one breath, telling everything very briefly. Misumi looked at the unlucky man skeptically and took a deep breath.       - Mobius? What does a scientist have to do with it? Maybe they also have tattoos of ouroboros? But the snake looks cool... Don't look at me like that. — Jokingly and smiling, she raised her hands up at the now seriously looking Takemichi, who didn’t really understand her mood to joke.       - Hm-yes. Okay, I more or less understand what you're talking about, but why did you come to me? Why do you need to reconcile them when you could take sides? And anyway, who gave you my address? - Misumi asks more interested, having already completely distracted herself from the mug of tea, turning all her attention now to Hanagaki. He swallows an imaginary lump in his throat, while simultaneously thinking about how to answer all the questions without burning Mitsuya and get Imaushi to agree to help him.       - I can’t answer this question, but I really don’t want Toman to discord, and that’s why I came to you... Um, you’ve known the gang and the founders for a long time, right? — He speaks carefully so as not to blurt out too much and then not answer leading questions.       Misumi frowns. She doesn't really like the idea of getting involved in Toman's affairs again, and God forbid, personal squabbles between Manjiro Sano and Ryuguji Ken. But her intuition whispers that she should trust this boy a little, even though she sees him for the first time in her life, he somehow reminds her of Shinichi, but she can’t understand why. She fiddles with her black hair, interspersed with blonde on some strands, throwing her head back and looking at the ceiling.       — About a year and a half ago, I decided not to get involved in any kind of manifestations of gangs anymore, but I still keep in touch with some. Even though I’m still only fifteen years old, I have some achievements. As you say, you urgently need peace and not a split in Toman? - In response, a quick, hesitant nod. “Then I can say that I’m no help to you in this, even though I can punch both of their faces.” I’ve never seen Kenchin and Mikey really seriously quarrel, but the fact that someone comes to me who seems to know them well, and out of his own hopelessness asks for help in this, already suggests something more than simple altercation for the usual reasons. Wow, she started talking about something. “Imaushi sighs, lightly slaps her face and lowers her head, asking a question that is not so interesting, when during the monologue she came up with an obvious answer, but not to ask would be blasphemy. — Did Takashi tell you about my geolocation?       - Um, who is this? - Taking the most harmless and uncomprehending look, Takemichi asked.       - That's how it is. Then Mitsu-Mitsu will have a preventive conversation in the near future regarding the disclosure of, although not very, confidential information. “A sly grin appeared on her face, anticipating her revenge for the sleep she was rightfully entitled to. Hanagaki smiles nervously, but it comes out somehow too crooked, which makes Imaushi laugh even more. He decides to return to the topic.       - So will you help me? I just don’t know who else to ask, and I myself haven’t been able to do anything with them for almost a week. “The lights of both despair and hope play in his eyes. Misumi looks at him and falls into a short stupor, calculating some steps ahead. She really wants to succumb to the feelings that she will certainly be ordered to go and reconcile the two dummies, but with her mind she understands that with almost a hundred percent probability she will be drawn into Toman’s affairs.       - OK. Then what do you propose to do? “Imaushi asks humbly, rising from the table, putting his cup aside and looking slightly irritated at Takemichi, who suddenly jumped up from the question.       - So you agree!.. Or do You agree? — The guy says in confusion, after which he also rises after her. “I’ll take it now and I won’t fucking agree.” It’s better to say “you” - With a habitual movement, she pulls off her large T-shirt, walking deeper into the apartment, turns around at Hanagaki, who for some reason also wanted to follow her. - Sit. I'll come now. - And leaves.       Takemichi has no choice but to obey and stay in the kitchen, now looking around the room. Having flown here as if on wings, he could not think about anything other than the current situation, but now he has to make up for lost time. The very furnishings of the kitchen with the table next to it do not shine with any luxury; everything is basically done in minimalism, with details of a traditional Japanese house. It is clear that people live not according to the concepts of beauty, but convenience.       After just a few minutes, Misumi, already dressed in normal clothes, comes out of the bedroom. A white shirt with a jacket thrown over it and black rolled-up jeans looked good with his hair, and the clothes themselves were comfortable.       - So, once again: what should we do? “The girl asked again, rolling from heel to toe. - And further. Let's take a short excursion. Among the gangs they know me... They knew me as “Meijin”, so if we come across any local bosozoku or something similar, contact me like that. Well, just in case, don't get into trouble, okay? “The slip,” Hanagaki thinks, is related to the thinly veiled story that Imaushi told him at the table, so he simply doesn’t pay attention to it.       - OK I understood. As for how we will reconcile they, I myself don’t know. - Takemichi said, hanging his head. He felt very uncomfortable in front of Misumi, because it was he who asked to see her, not she.       - …Okay, then do you know where they might be now, Hanamichi? — Disappointed with very little information, she goes to put on her sandals, opening the door at the same time and calling Hanagaki, who groans in doom when he hears his first and last name being distorted even more.       -What are you doing, Hanamichi? — Hearing sounds from the side, she raises an eyebrow and looks at Takemichi. He quickly apologizes, bleating something like: “Nothing, you just imagined it.” Misumi tsks displeasedly, and, remembering one detail, she looks questioningly at Hanamichi. - Maybe you know, they have a meeting today?       - Nope. I left the hospital not long ago, and at first they didn’t say anything to me. But I know that on the third of August Toman’s scheduled a goal against Mobius, only they showed up earlier and attacked, but Osanai lost to Mikey and also... - Realizing how much he had not told, Takemichi began to add more and more to his words, only to be abruptly interrupted.       - So… Enough of the verbal diarrhea.

As Hanamichi said, the Toman’s were supposed to have a battle on the third of August with Mobius. But when Mikey, Draken and Pachin and their deputy gathered to discuss this, Osanai, who is also the head of Mobius, showed up and got into a fight with Hayashida. Already beaten, Mikey picked him up and knocked out the head of Mobius with one blow, then, according to Hanagaki, the police arrived and at the same moment Pa stabbed Osanai, after which he remained to surrender to the cops. Pa himself was avenging his friend, whose girlfriend was beaten and raped in front of his eyes by the Moebius men.       At that moment, when Takemichi was talking about revenge, Misumi’s lips distorted into a gloomy smile, mixed with slight madness, and her face relaxed in serenity. Whoever this Pachin is, Imaushi respects him for such a brave act, which did not hide from Hanamichi, who then looked a little fearfully at Meijin’s face.       - So, Hanamichi. We need to come to a consensus in any case. — Standing in the corridor, Misumi concludes wearily. She now needed to be at school in a good way, which she will do, but only when they decide what they will do next.       - Hmm. Then let's go to the Musashi holiday, if on the third, according to your words, something bad might happen, then I will try to help somehow. — Distracted, she quickly takes a small piece of paper from the chest of drawers and vaguely scribbles something, then puts this small note into the hand of the perplexed Takemichi. - My number is for emergencies. If things get really bad, you'll ring. I hope for your prudence.       After escorting Hanamichi out of her apartment, Misumi went to pack her school bag. Even though she’s already two and a half lessons late, she doesn’t see anything wrong. The grades are quite satisfactory for her and the teachers, even if attendance is poor, Imaushi can sit for extra grades at any time and, accordingly, receive a few more grades for the journal.       Considering that some guy showed up to her early in the morning, who suddenly turned out to be a friend of Ken and Manjiro, while almost tearfully begging to reconcile the two heads of Toswa, it seems to her that she should have gone to school from the very beginning.
