Why?

Settings
Trust, like a double-edged sword, Always fatally wounds people. Swiftly, we sever heads from shoulders, But this vengeance brings us no ease. For we naively opened up to them, Exposing our soul and heart so easily. In the end, only painful wounds revealed, Showing that their hearts are deaf to friendship. So why are we distant from each other? Not because we're covered in thick armor? And if so, then why, against the world, Did we once fall in love with someone?
