"Are you sure that everything..." you couldn't finish; Lydia, apparently, was very upset about something and was crying now, "is fine… What happened?" you asked anxiously, quickly approaching her. "I don't have enough snacks," Lydia glanced at you over her shoulder, carefully wiping her wet eyes, trying to make sure that the mascara on her eyelashes didn't smudge. "So let me help you," you offered, not seeing anything strange in this. "But you're a guest..." Lydia frowned. "It doesn't mean that I don't know how to cook," you grinned, gently hugging the girl by the shoulders. Lydia exhaled convulsively, and you, frowning slightly, turned her around to face you. "Everything is fine," you smiled faintly at Lydia, and then weightlessly touched her forehead with your lips, covering your eyes. She held her breath and a smile spread across her lips, and when you pulled away, she took your hand and you went to the kitchen. *** "It should turn out delicious," Lydia was preparing some kind of sophisticated sauce for snacks, the name of which you didn't even remember. Martin carefully scooped up some sauce and tasted a little. "Mmm..." she mumbled, blissfully closing her eyes, "yes, this is it," she looked at you and nodded at the sauce, "will you?" You looked at the plate and then at Lydia herself and noticed that there was a little sauce left on her lips. That's why, with a slight smile, you took a step to get closer and, bending down, gently licked the sauce from her lips with your tongue. Lydia looked at you in surprise. when you pulled back and straightened up, taking a couple of steps back. "There was sauce," you shrugged, trying to appear unperturbed, but you were already scolding yourself for the haste of your actions. You could have removed it with your finger or… Lydia didn't let you scold yourself for a long time and get lost in your thoughts. She took a step towards you and, smiling, kissed you. At first you were confused for a couple of seconds, then you tried to relax and just focus on your feelings, leaving all thoughts for later. "I've been waiting for you to do this," Lydia muttered to herself, pulling away from you and turning to the snacks. "Why?" you blurted out without thinking and, realizing what you said, bit your tongue, "oh…" Martin turned to you, raising her eyebrows in surprise. You immediately raised your hands as if you were giving up. "Okay, that was a bit of a stupid question, okay!" Lydia smiled contentedly, nodded, and began stirring the sauce with some special zeal.
