Don't Distract Me, I'm Cooking.

Robin, Doi and Drake gathered around in the kitchen. On the table were: doughnuts, cherry soda, strawberry jelly, fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Doi gazed at everything lying on the table, as if he was ready to swallow everything in no time. “So,” Robin muttered, “we have these neat yummies for our luncheon. Should we eat 'em all right now?” Drake shook his head, “Not yet. I brought it here to make a little dessert, a so-called «strawberry short-cut».” Doi seemed excited, and yet curious as he heard Drake. “A strawberry what?” he asked, wanting to know what he means. “Just take a look,” Drake stated, “and you'll find out what I mean.” Robin and Doi sat on their chairs, looking at Drake doing his strawberry short-cut. “Take a doughnut,” Drake explained, “and place it in a serving dish.” Robin and Doi repeated Drake's actions, placing their doughnuts on their dishes. Robin immediately took a bottle of cherry soda, and poured it on his doughnut. “Marinate it with a cherry 7-Up (this was not the 7-Up)! Here, Doi.” Doi hesitated for a minute, not sure if it's good to moisten his doughnut with a soda, so he put the bottle away. Drake then opened a jar of strawberry jelly. “You're sweetening it with a jello, right?” Doi asked, as Drake scooped a jelly in a teaspoon and put it on the hole of his doughnut. “Correct,” Drake replied, passing a jar to Doi. “Here, try it if you want.” As Doi sweetened his doughnut, Drake took a strawberry box and shook a whipped cream bottle. “Lastly, add fresh strawberries and whipped cream.” “Whipped topping!” Robin said to Drake. “No, whipped cream,” Drake replied to Robin, smiling slyly at him. As everyone finished making their strawberry short-cuts, Doi asked, “We also have a cherry soda. What should we do with it?” “Nothing much, just serve it with your strawberry short-cut,” Drake said, pointing at the bottle of soda. The group settled down around the table, ready to enjoy their sweet treats. Robin grabbed his doughnut, added a few more strawberries from the bowl and took a big bite out of his masterpiece. “Mmm, this is delicious!” he proclaimed, his mouth full of doughnut and jelly. Doi looked at Robin's doughnut enviously, and decided to do as Robin did. He grabbed more strawberries and added more whipped cream, and before long, he was savoring his own strawberry short-cut. As Drake was chowing down his short-cut, he poured a cherry soda into his glass. “Don't forget the fizzy cherry soda,” he reminded his friends. Robin and Doi nodded, and grabbed their own glasses of cherry soda. They sat at the table, chattering excitedly about the different ways of customizing a strawberry short-cut. Robin thought about adding some of the cherry soda on top of his doughnut next time, while Doi wondered how jelly would taste with the whipped cream. The group had a fun time experimenting, and eventually they finished all their delicious creations. They decided that they would definitely be making more strawberry short-cuts in the future.
