There, Sandy (Sketchpad) and Thomas (Choo-choo Man) are the guest stars.
“Hi!” the blonde girl exclaimed. “You didn't expect me to be here, right?”
It was Sandy Parringwell, the previous Creativity teacher. She somehow entered the three friends' house. Robin and Doi looked at her with some sort of an excitement.
“Hi, Sandy,” Robin replied, his voice sounded more American for the English man. “Great to meet you, pal! How are ya?”
Doi also said, “We're doing well and you?”
Sandy eagerly spoke, “I'm doing good! And, I've got some good idea! Want to hear?”
Drake looked at her with a hint of confusion, “Don't get me wrong, Sandy, but how in the hey did you get to our house?”
“Good!” Sandy almost sang, ignoring Drake's question. Then, she let out some meat, vegetables, spices and dough. “I'm about to make the meat pie! Take a good look!”
Sandy entered the kitchen, determined to make a delicious meat pie. First, she gathered the ingredients: chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, and a few herbs and spices.
She browned the beef in a skillet and then sautéed the other vegetables, making sure to season them well. Once the vegetables were cooked through and all the flavors had melded together, she added a splash of red wine and reduced it to a thick gravy.
Next, she rolled out a crust and lined a pan with it before pouring the beef and vegetable mixture in.
Then, she cut the crust so there were vents to let the steam out while baking. She sprinkled some cheese on top, and slid it into the oven.
Sandy finished off the meat pie with a flourish, setting it on a plate for the three friends to admire. With a gleam in her eyes, she announced, “Gentlemen, I present to you: the greatest meat pie you will ever have the pleasure of eating!”
The three friends eyed the pie with excitement, eager to sample the delicacy. “We'll be the judge of that,” Doi declared. “Who's going first?”
Robin excitedly grabbed a slice of the pie and bit into it, the delicious juices exploding in his mouth. “Oh my god, this is amazing. I've never tasted anything like this before.”
Doi cut a piece off and took a small bite, savoring the flavors. “It's good, indeed. So I want to take the time to really appreciate it.”
Meanwhile, Drake was studying the pie suspiciously, looking for anything out of the ordinary. Sandy asked, “Is something wrong? What don't you eat?”
“I'd say there's something… missing,” he replied, looking away from his slice.
“What exactly is missing? A pinch of salt?” Sandy suggested. “Or a li'l bit of sauce?” Robin added. “Or…”
Drake immediately stated, his voice calm yet a bit firm, “Some normal food.”
Robin, Doi and Sandy looked at Drake with a mixture of surprise and disapproval.
Drake explained, “The thing is, to me, those mince and dough stuff wrapped like a pie that you slipped us is not much different from dog food. I can't eat that. No offense.”
Sandy looked at him the same way, and then went over and threw the contents of his plate into the trash can, which she tied up and threw out the window, hitting Thomas' in the face as he passed.
“Hey!” Thomas shouted. “Hey, you motherless chicken! Watch where you throw your trash, you blonde bastard!"
Robin, Doi, Drake and Sandy both replied in unison, “Shut your face, you senile old man!”
Thomas muttered something at his own expense and left, while the others continued to dine without any further incident.
Robin, Doi, and Sandy all laughed loudly at Thomas' expense, but Drake didn't find the situation amusing at all. He stood up and walked over to the kitchen, preparing a cup of tea for himself.
On a plate next to the tea was a fluffy cinnamon roll, which Drake drizzled with a generous amount of honey. As the rest of his friends returned to their seats, Drake took a sip of his tea and took a bite of his cinnamon roll in silence.
“Drake?” Doi asked. “Can I have a little bite of this roll?”
Drake nodded, passing it to the boy, and he made a little bite. “I also drizzled some honey here, to make it sweeter, by the way.”
Robin and Sandy also tried a bite of Drake's cinnamon roll, praising it for its perfect blend of sweet and savory flavours. Robin then turned his attention to Drake, curious about his thoughts on the meat pie. “So, Drake, it seems like you really didn't enjoy the meat pie. How come?”
Drake could only shrug his shoulders, and continue enjoying his tea with a cinnamon roll.
