Alcoholic

Settings
In the deep recesses of his soul, the evenings dragged on like a dim candle, trying to illuminate the darkness of the past. He was a sailor, sailing on the waves of time, but each of them seemed to bring only new storms. His eyes, like two lost stars, glittered dimly through the mist of sadness in which he was drowning, like in a bottle of banished wine. He was facing a storm in his life, like a ship that had lost its compass. Each gulp, as if trying to find a direction in the darkness, only dragged him deeper into the whirlpool of hopelessness. In his hands, the glass was like a boat in the ocean — a small wooden rickety boat sailing towards the inevitable. Weaving the threads of the past into a pattern of alcoholic fog, he sought to forget the coastal moments of happiness, like a rocket that lost its way in the starry night. He drank as if every sip could replace the lost moments. But the more he drank, the more he was carried away from the shore of life. He became the evening voice of the bar, singing along to the dreary notes of bottles on the shelf. His laughter was an echo of past joys, and his eyes were windows into a world that existed somewhere inside, but became inaccessible to him. Everyone around saw him, but few people realized that behind every sip there was a fate covered with dark wine stains. He was lost in the haze of his mistakes, among broken bottles and broken dreams. Alcohol was his shadow, long and relentless, chasing him through the empty streets of memory. He was a sailor, but his ship had long been lost in the stormy ocean of alcohol. And now he was sailing under the black flag of loneliness, drowned in an ocean of his own tears.
