The Monk

Settings
In the depths of the misty gorge, where the breath of nature can be heard like a faint whisper of the wind, there was an ancient monastery. Its walls, like the guardians of time, stretched to the heavens, like sacred columns bearing the burden of earthly secrets. Inside this secluded sanctuary lived a monk named Eitan. He was like a tree rooted in holy soil, but his face reflected the years, like layers of bark on which pain and loss are carved. Silent oceans of sadness lurked in the monk's eyes, and every glance into the past was a journey through the endless waves of lost moments. He lived inside the monastery walls, like a prisoner in his own destiny. His body was here, but his soul was often carried away to the heights of heaven, like a bird trying to find its lost flock. Silence reigned inside the monastery, like an eternal choir, and every step of the monk created a melody of rustling clothes around him, inscribed in the elements of this silent symphony. One day, when the sun began to set over the horizon, Eitan got out of the monastery gates. The shadows of the trees played on his pale face, creating mosaic patterns of the past. He walked along the paths as if on the branches of time, and in every rustle of leaves he heard the echo of lost years. In the distance, beyond the mountains, the moon was rising, like a slow vessel of time into which the hours of life were flowing. The monk stopped and looked into its light, as if at a mirror of the soul reflecting the past centuries. At that moment, his heart was filled with the fragrance of withered flowers, and sadness fell on the monk's shoulders like ancient ripples on water. So the monk's life continued, like a poem about eternal aspiration, about lost moments and about inanimate shadows that danced in the light of the passing day. He was a guardian of secrets, a keeper of memory, whose gaze was sharpened at the edge of the world, where days end, but eternities begin.
