The Captain's lamentations

Somewhere in the boundless oceans of fate, under the dark giant of heaven, a lone pirate named Edmund was swimming. His ship, like an eclipsed shadow, glided over the waves, leaving behind only echoes of the past.
Far, far away, in the inviting light of the beacon of hope, there were times when Edmund owned his ship as the captain of his own share. The masts of his ship cut through the skies like swift swords, ready to meet any adventure.
But times change like the ebb and flow. Fate, like a ruthless witch, laughed in Edmund's face, depriving him not only of the ship, but also of the faithful crew. There was only an empty hold of the soul, filled with waves of loss and salty sorrow.
Now the ship's planets are fading in his eyes, like the fading stars of the night sky. Shackled in the loops of adversity, he wanders through the endless sea of his own doubts, like a ghost deprived of his past.
Dreams of gold and glory became a shadow on the hood of his thoughts. Edmund is a prisoner of his fate, sailing towards the boundless sunset, where the sun is drowning in an ocean of forgotten hopes.
And here he is, a captain without a ship, a pirate without dancing sails. He greets every sunrise as a farewell and every sunset as a sentence. In a world where every wave reminds of lost battles, Edmund continues his endless journey like a wanderer of the eternal sea.
Sometimes a bright memory flickers in the distant eyes of a pirate, like a lighthouse in the misty distance, but he already knows that the ship of his destiny has perished, and parts of his soul have drowned with it.
So Edmund sails, a pirate among the waves, forever leaving and forever searching, left afloat in the boundless oceans of his own thoughts.
