Where is Monty when we need him so much?»       From that moment on, the boy began to behave more seriously. He focused more attention on everything that is here. When the boy heard that the trio had almost caught up with him (they were just passing the gate), he moved on with a calm step along the atrium.       Each of them peered into all corners of the atrium as they walked. They came to the center of it. Everyone was looking for at least a hint that Montgomery was here somewhere. After a while, Roxanne spoke seriously to everyone:       Roxy: «Monty isn't in the atrium».       The boy looked back at her briefly and spoke calmly:       Gregory: «Got it», – after that, he turned forward again and after a while, unable to stand it, said in a slightly dissatisfied tone: «It disappoints that he isn't here right now…» – then he turned back again to his comrades on the move and asked them in a reasonable tone: «Can he be in his Golf right now?»       Roxy: «I don't know, but he'd be capable…» – she said with a quiet chuckle.       Freddy: «We can go there», – the bear spoke calmly.       Gregory: «Well… then let's really check it out», – he said firmly and turned forward again.       Chica: «Alright!» – she said in a slightly joyful tone.       The group gone to Monty's Golf. They were walking diagonally across the atrium towards that attraction. Sometimes they met security bots on the way, but there were so few of them that the group easily passed closer and closer to golf. A few seconds later, they reached the vertical gate, and the boy ran up to them so that they would open before the rest of the group arrived. While it was opening, the boy was looking for Montgomery inside the room.       «So-o…» – the boy was talking to himself in mind: «And there is no… it seems… Then we go deeper».       At that moment, the boy just heard the approaching steps of the trio from behind and began to speak calmly to them, while still looking at the room:       Gregory: «Can't see him here. Also, you, Roxy, look at this, but it seems to me that he's somewhere deeper…» – and went ahead.       Roxy: «Deeper…» – here she chuckled: «That's putting it mildly. Sometimes he gets in such an!..»       Freddy & Chica: «Roxy!» – raising a dissatisfied tone, they interrupted the wolf.       The boy stopped abruptly and turned his head at those two with a puzzled look, and then looked at everyone.       Roxy: «What?..» – slightly awkwardly shrinking, she said, looking at them with a snide smile.       Gregory: «Quieter…» – he said in a calm tone to her.       Roxy: «Come on y'all…» – she spoke in a hooligan tone, straightening up in parallel: «Why are you such sissies? Moreover, he's already…»       Chica: «Roxy, hell», – she interrupted her in a slightly displeased tone.       Roxy: «Well, okay-okay…» – she was doing them a favor, while putting hands on hips: «So be it. To damn with you…» – here she turned back towards the room again and began to speak to them with feigned displeasure: «And, in general, you distracted me! There is no excuse for you!.. Or how it?.. Some kind of… Ah, to damn with that!.. Anyway, Monty isn’t here», – the wolf said calmly at the end and turned to the boy, lowering her arms.       The boy finally couldn't stand the whole scene and laughed quietly, but at the same time for quite a long time.       Roxy: «Laughing, aren't?» – she said with a snide smile, crossing her arms over her bust.       The boy silently waved his hand in response, and then, calming down a little, he still said in a funny tone:       Gregory: «Great! Working further…» – then he walked towards the elevator.       After a while, Chica's soft and quiet chuckle was heard behind the boy. From Roxanne, however, a snort was heard, from which it wasn’t entirely clear whether she was grinning or worse… It's unclear, generally speaking! But it made the boy laugh a little.       After about 5 seconds, the boy ran up to the party bot and began to wait for his actions. After a while, he moved away from the aisle and pointed with his hands at the sliding doors. The boy rejoiced after this action and said:       Gregory: «There is! Thank you very much, comrade!» – and gave him a thumbs up.       After that, Roxanne abruptly grabbed the boy and carried to the elevator, simultaneously saying with a small chuckle:       Roxy: «Come on already! Tired of…»       Gregory: «Come on, my God! Why do you keep bringing with this so?» – he flared up with extreme displeasure.       The wolf laughed snidely, and then continued in a hooligan tone, having previously turned the boy to face her:       Roxy: «Stop being so mawkish already, otherwise I'll keep taking you away like this all the time».       Here the wolf stopped near the sliding doors and pressed the button to call the elevator.       Gregory: «But what did you see the mawkish in anyway?» – he asked her in perplexity, and then continued in an affirmative tone: «It's okay when you thank someone for something».       Roxy: «And what did he do for you so?» – she said in a tired tone.       Gregory: «He let me go to the elevator», – the boy replied calmly.       Roxy: «Well, what's the big deal? What should thank for?»       Gregory: «Well, damn it! Do you want to disagree with this?»       Roxy: «Oh, enough!» – suddenly she spoke in a hooligan tone: «Can't I have a little fun anymore already?»       Just after these words, the boy saw how Freddy and Chica, with smiles on their faces, slowly finally reached them.       «And did you even run here for this moment?..» – ran through the boy's mind.       After that, he was silent for a while, and then looked at her with a small reproach, while saying:       Gregory: «Vermin…»       Roxy: «Ha! Yes!» – she said in a satisfied tone, starting to quickly shake her tail from side to side, and put the boy on the floor.       Gregory: «But still, it's better not to do that at such moments», – he spoke seriously.       Roxy: «I can't promise anything!» – she spoke joyfully.       The boy, looking at her and her tail, smiled, but at the same time he rolled his eyes accusingly for a short time. The wolf only chuckled snidely and at the same time a little tenderly.       Freddy: «Well… since the elevator has been going for so long, then someone used it to go down», – he spoke judiciously, becoming a little more serious.       After that, Roxanne calmed down a little and began to speak a little clumsily, looking at each of them in parallel:       Roxy: «Oh!.. By the way, yes… So, Monty will be there after all… probably…»       Chica: «Roxy-Roxy…» – she said with a chuckle.       The wolf slowly turned to look at her, and then spoke with a small excitement and a chuckle:       Roxy: «Well!.. It's a draw so far…»       The boy then casually took hold of his head and began to bend, simultaneously pronouncing in a dejectedly cheerful tone:       Gregory: «What's going on here anyway?..»       The wolf snorted.       Roxy: «That's it! After a while, the sliding doors still managed to open. The boy looked at the booth, and then spoke loudly to his comrades:       Gregory: «Well okay, that's it! Let's go!» – then ran into the elevator.       Everyone else followed him into the booth and Freddy pressed the button to send the elevator down, and after a while they rode along with the main theme of the mascots. And Roxanne was still laughing! Vermin… And yet there is something pleasant about it all. Even, it would seem, in difficult moments there is time for happiness!.. Well… of course, this is too much fun, but still, it's good to have those around who can cheer up. Everyone, of course, does it in their own way, but in the end, together, something turns out that… can't even be described in words, but it makes pleasant. It motivates. It charging!.. She began to stare at the boy in perplexity…       «What the hell is this?» – the boy was saying to himself in mind.       He didn't quite understand what had happened to him just now… At first, he wanted to analyze his condition, but there was no time for reflection, therefore he quickly pulled himself together and began to speak to her in an affirmative and soothing tone:       Gregory: «Thus, everything will be fine very soon. Will just have to run a little more for this, okay?»       She was still staring at the boy in bewilderment and didn't say anything. It was only after a few seconds that she came to her senses and awkwardly said:       Chica: «Oh… Yes, alright», – then turned away a little.       The boy was still worried about her behavior, so he couldn't just leave it all:       Gregory: «Be patient a little bit…» – he said in a comforting tone and took her other hand: «Everything will be back to normal soon. There is very little left… So, be happy!» – here the boy grinned a little.       Chica turned her attention back to him and smiled meekly at him. After a while, she gently placed her hands on the boy's shoulders, after which she said softly:       Chica: «I know…» – and rubbed by hands over his shoulders a little.       Then she finally straightened up and released the boy, still continuing to look at him with an admiring smile. That made him chuckle a little.       Roxy: «Oh! That vermin spotted!» – she exclaimed briskly.       Everyone quickly turned their heads at her.       Gregory: «Where?» – the boy asked in a burst of interest.       Roxy: «On, um… on the right! He's far from the elevator», – she said with a little excitement.       «Aha. So, generally speaking…» – the boy was recovering his thoughts: «What could have been simpler is gone. After a while, the boy returned to the elevator again.       Gregory: «So, well…» – the boy spoke seriously and quietly, turning his head slightly towards them, but still looking into the golf room: «You can move a little bit, but at the same time be careful not to be noticed here. Now I'm going to run to the right – towards Monty. Be ready».       Roxy: «Come on! We'll be nearby!» – she spoke in a joyful and slightly nervous whisper.       Freddy: «You can do it», – the bear said calmly.       After that, the boy got out of the elevator and looked around again to make sure that there would be no obstacles in the form of security bots on the way now. After a while, he quickly moved to the right – towards Monty's huge head, which served as a passage to another part of the golf. The boy ran very carefully along the path to there and at the same time quickly enough. Gregory didn't bother a single security bot, although there were so many of them that you could just make up a troop of them!.. Or… the horde? Well, not about that now… The boy ran to the right side of the golf, but Montgomery was still not in sight.       «On the right, crap…» – Gregory said to himself in mind, a little displeased: «Well, are you serious, Monty? Where the hell are you?..»       The boy looked around the room once more, and then his gaze stopped at the passage in the form of Montgomery's huge head.       «Um, yeah… Ironic…» – the boy was talking to himself in mind: «It means more to the right?.. Well, then let's go straight into the mouth of the problem. At the same time, literally and figuratively!»       Gregory chuckled softly and a little wearily at his thoughts, after which he abruptly became serious and walked down the aisle to another part of the golf. A few seconds later, he found himself in a room with one mini golf course and a path leading to the left into a small corridor. The room itself was almost identical in design to the previous one, but it was clearly more miniature and was better lit with brighter colors, not just green.       The boy walked very cautiously towards the corridor, expecting that Monty would be somewhere nearby. When he came to a fairly narrow room and looked into it, he didn’t see anyone at first.       «Even further?..» – Gregory wondered inwardly.       The boy sighed and almost started walking down the dark corridor, but suddenly a monotonous, restrained voice was heard from there:       Monty: «I know you're here…»       After that, the boy briskly pulled back and cautiously peeked his head out into the corridor from behind the wall. Heavy footsteps could be heard gradually approaching from there, but the alligator was still not in sight.       «Well, finally!» – Gregory said to himself in mind and, out of delight, carefully raised one fist up for a short time, after which he immediately lowered it: «So-o… how should I act?»       The boy began to look for shelters behind him, but after looking at the room for a few seconds, he didn’t find particularly reliable shelters.       «Well, let's say…» – the boy was saying to himself in mind: «Means, will only run away from here. Will maneuver in a bigger room… Yes! It's going to be fun!..»       The boy turned his gaze again and finally saw Montgomery entering the hallway from the opposite side. He walked quite menacingly, as in previous times: arms outstretched, torso slightly bent into a hook. By himself, the alligator was ready to pounce on anyone at the first opportunity. This made Gregory a little uneasy, especially after he had seen him ready to smear a boy into a pancake in flight shortly before that moment. The boy shuddered at the thought, but then he abruptly woke up.       «So-o, well… Let’s go!» – he said to himself in mind, gathering his resolve, and quickly came out of hiding, standing tall in front of the corridor.       Gregory: «Hello, Monty!» – he spoke vigorously.       At that moment, the lights in the entire establishment abruptly turned off. Only the neon ribbons on the sides remained lit. The boy was taken into a sharp stupor by this, and he began to peer into the now even darker corridor, but, fortunately, the boy's eyes very quickly got used to the darkness. He saw how the alligator abruptly turned his attention to him (this was visible with the help of his barely noticeable red cornea eyes lighting through glasses) and immediately ran in his direction, while saying in a beckoning and gambling tone:       Monty: «Hey, little guy!»       Gregory was very tense at the moment. For him, everything slowed down by about 2 times and by himself the boy began to feel a specific viscosity of his movements.       «What the hell?!» – this phrase ran through the boy's head several times at this moment in various interpretations.       Then a strong warmth began to emanate from the boy. He felt it himself. Gregory abruptly began to look at each other in all directions in search of a passage to the main premises of the golf course. After he found it, – very quickly pulled out of this room. He did it just in time, as he was almost captured now. At that moment, a breeze swept nearby him from, flying past him quickly, Montgomery's paws.       Monty: «Nowhere get far!» – he spoke with even more passion, having missed the target.       But the boy was no longer listening to him, and he himself could not say much. In that moment all his thoughts were a little scattered in his head. He was only thinking about how to increase a safe distance between himself and the alligator.       The boy rushed off to the main room in about 5 seconds. He was running very fast with wide opened eyes. There was no emotion on his face, except maybe a big shock. He listened to the footsteps behind him. They seemed to have gotten much further away. After that, finally, the boy gradually began to regain his sanity:       «Broke away?..» – Gregory said to himself in mind as he ran: «Thus, wait! What am I even doing?..»       The boy, unnoticed by himself, quickly bypassed the security bots on his way, despite the almost complete darkness around, except for their own flashlights. Fortunately, they didn't even have time to suspect the so-called troublemaker.       «Alright! Where is the temporary shelter?..» – thought Gregory: «Fence!»       After that, the boy ran around the fence surrounding the artificial pond, and stopped for a while, looking for Montgomery with tension. The alligator turned out to be just a few meters away from the boy on the other side of the fence. He was still running to the nearest point to the boy on the opposite side of the fence. This gave Gregory time to think:       «Need to talk to him!.. Why did the lights go out? Although… what time is it?»       He quickly looked at his Faz-watch and saw “04:55” on it.       «How timely everything is, however!» – the boy was indignant in mind and quickly lowered his watch.       At that moment, Montgomery had already run closer to the boy, chuckling with malicious excitement at the same time, and tried to reach him with his hands over the fence, but boy abruptly jumped back. Then he spoke hurriedly:       Gregory: «Stop! No need! We need your help! Can you help with Bonnie?»       By this, alligator was shuddered a little. After a split second, he tried to quickly jump over the fence under the electromechanical sounds from his feet, thereby pouncing on the boy.       Gregory: «Oh, damn!» – he said, after which he ran again towards the elevator, where he expected an ambush for the alligator from his comrades.       There was a loud and heavy crash on the floor behind the boy. Apparently, he put his whole soul into this blow, but alas – a miss.       The boy ran around the fence again, returning to the previous side, and ran closer to the elevator. Surprisingly, Montgomery chased after him with intermittent and aggressive growls, but without saying a single word. For the boy, his behavior seemed a little unusual. He understood that the mention of Bonnie affected him, but he did not expect that he would then receive such actions from Montgomery as a result. He didn't even say anything in response and is still silent… Although… it's not for nothing that boy and trio came up with an ambush? Perhaps, after all, they expected something of this kind from him. Well… almost of that kind…       «Now I totally agree with Roxy», – Gregory was saying in mind as he ran: «He's going to be hard to deal with».       When the boy ran up to the elevator, he slowed down a little. He assumed that the trio was there now, waiting for the right moment. But they weren't there. The boy was a little startled by this at first, but then calmed down a little.       «Well, so… let's run on!» – Gregory said in mind and accelerated his run.       He was already running towards the mini-cafe, in the back rooms of which the group had recently found a level 6 security pass. The boy still deftly avoided the security bots that he encountered on the way. Fortunately, the alligator was steadily lagging behind the boy, but another problem was beginning – the boy himself was already beginning to run out of steam: the “fast and the furious” mode still ends sometimes. But Gregory didn't give up. The boy was still running towards the cafe, overcoming obstacles of various kinds. He knew that everything was going to be all right now in one way or another. It was just necessary to be patient a little more, and then continue trying to restore Monty and, finally, restore!       While the boy ran forward, he began to think about additional options for starting a conversation with Montgomery in a calm way:       «Crap… How can I get through to him?.. He's not even going to listen to me! Maybe?..»       But his thoughts were interrupted by electromechanical sounds from behind. Then already there was followed by the sound of a strong and sharp push to the floor, which indicated that Monty had jumped. The boy tried to accelerate, but he was already beginning to feel something approaching him from above. This made him feel a little uneasy, which made him try with all his might to somehow run even faster or a little more unpredictably. Moreover, there was absolutely nothing left to run to the cafe! Later it would be possible to turn off somehow or hide, or think of something else!.. But the boy felt a firm grip around his torso. He initially twitched in it several times, but then… the boy's legs lost the ground. Gregory took off in air abruptly, and the arms that had grown around the boy still held him insistently. Then, further back, a loud rumble was heard very close by, which spoke of another Montgomery miss. The boy looked back in a daze and saw the Moon. He chuckled hoarsely in several times, looking at him.       Gregory: «You?..» – he asked in perplexity.       Moon nodded silently and cautiously.       Gregory: «Thanks!» – he spoke more joyfully.       Suddenly, dissatisfied shouts were heard from below:       Monty: «Ah, you filthy bastard! Bring kid back here!» – then a growl followed.       Daycare attendant with the boy in his arms turned towards the speaker and said in an instructive tone:       Moon: «Maybe if you ask a little more politely, then I will give him to you…»       Montgomery then began to growl even louder and cringed a little with rage. An electromechanical sound followed from his legs. Yes, he was going to jump high up to them again. But somewhere not far, another electromechanical sound was heard from the side. It was hard to make out where it was coming from in the dark, but he could hear that clearly enough for the boy. Then, at the same time, strong tremors into the ground from 2 different sides followed. Montgomery flew up towards them. The Daycare Attendant began to fly higher and slightly dodge to the side with the boy. But right under the boy, when Monty was already halfway to them, two glowing yellow corneas quickly flew by. This was followed by a loud clang of metal on metal and the alligator was carried away a little to the side. Then, after a couple of seconds, there was a very strong and prolonged crash on the floor. Fortunately, there were no crunches or sounds of anything breaking after that.       Roxy: «Enough!» – she said through a growl.       As it turned out, the wolf knocked the alligator to the floor. She put her hands on his shoulders and held him in a prone position with all her weight, but he began to rise to his feet under an aggressive growl, trying to push the wolf away from him. Then two more glowing corneas of light purple color appeared from around the corner and immediately headed towards the skirmish.       Chica: «Calm down!» – she said in a serious and slightly anxious tone, after which she also put hands on Montgomery's arms.       From that moment on, the alligator was knocked to the floor again, but he didn't stop resisting. From the scene of the altercation, you could hear metal grinding against metal and how it crackles a little under tension.       Chica: «How much stubbornness…» – she spoke menacingly and a little hoarsely.       And at this moment, very not far from that all, glowing bright blue corneas appeared with heavy, nimble footsteps. It was clearly Freddy. When he reached the scene of the altercation, he firmly grabbed the alligator by the sides with both hands. Roxanne and Chica quickly stepped aside after they were convinced of the strength of Fazbear's grip. Bear lifted Montgomery off the floor in his arms. At first, he began to resist and try to get out of his grip, but everything was in vain. He was immobilized. Eventually, Montgomery began to glitch, and he periodically interrupted any of his actions. After a while, he began to pronounce in an extremely dissatisfied and intermittent tone due to periodic glitches:       Monty: «Freddy!.. Get off m-me, brute!»       Roxy: «Completely off the rails!» – she said in a snarky tone.       At that moment, Fazbear only tilted his head a little curiously for a while, still peering at the alligator, but that began to respond with displeased bewilderment to the exclamations of others:       Monty: «Me?! No way!.. What are y-you doing?! Why are you stoppin-ng me from doing our task?!» – here he growled a little, and then continued threateningly: «Get off me before it's t-too late, Fazbear! Otherwise, you'll regret it v-very much later…»       At that time, while the alligator was talking, he didn't resist very much and behaved more judiciously, but when he was periodically buggy, he again tried in every way to get out of bear's grip. This led the boy to various kinds of thoughts: about the strangeness of the virus, about the incomprehensible behavior of Montgomery and…       «Wait… So that's what it's all about!» – the boy was saying in mind in an epiphany: «That's how much he dislikes him because of the Bonnie incident!.. Well, or rather… To hell with that! It's time to negotiate!»       The boy quickly looked back at the Moon and said more actively to him:       Gregory: «It's time to go down. Need to talk with him».       After a split second, Attendant obediently began to quickly and carefully descend with the boy down to the group.       Roxy: «You must watch your mouth!» – she spoke in an extremely irritated tone to the alligator, menacingly approaching him.       Montgomery only growled disapprovingly in response, looking at the wolf.       At that moment, Daycare Attendant and boy landed, after which Moon carefully and deftly put him on the floor.       Gregory: «Thanks very much again!» – the boy said softly and hurriedly to the Attendant, looking at him: «If you don't have much time left, can go back to Daycare. We'll try not to let you down!»       He laughed softly and hoarsely, after which he quietly replied:       Moon: «Well. Good luck!» – and flew up into the air again.       Gregory: «And to you!» – he spoke a little joyfully and waved his hand several times to the end.       After that, the boy quickly prepared for the conversation. It was obvious from him that he was thinking about something else.       Roxy: «Don't be a coward!..
