Chapter 14. Tomfoolery…

Settings
Notes:
Gregory and his group moved at a fast pace through the Rockstar Row and counters. They were all heading to Monty's Golf. It was there that one of the security offices was located, where you could get a higher-level pass. The whole group was having a lot of fun. There was no longer that much concern for Gregory's safety on their part. The boy was skipping in front of them again, and they were following him.       When the group went into the technical corridors, the boy, as before, decided to cheer everyone up so that they would speed up:       Gregory: «Comrades, come on speed up! Due to such a low speed, we'll soon be covered with dust!» – he said without stopping and grinned, looking back at them.       Roxy: «Ha! Well, you asked for it!..» – the wolf spoke with a sly smile and began to run towards the boy: «Well, come here, shithead!» – she said in a hooligan tone and tried to reach out with her hands to the boy who was still far away from her.       Gregory: «Nope! Better you'd come to us!» – he said in a mischievous tone and, turning to face forward, broke into a run.       Thus, the boy and Roxanne began to play catch-up in a narrow corridor. Chica looked at them dumbfounded at first, but then calmed down a little after Freddy started giggling a little from what was happening. They both switched to brisk walking in order to catch up with the two of them fooling around.       Gregory had joy, surprise, and excitement during this game, along with a small fear… Generally speaking, he was having fun. The boy did not run very fast, but he maneuvered well enough, especially on turns. The boy deftly dodged her paws at the right moments of time, when she was close; he could quickly change the direction of movement, which caused her to get a little lost. But Roxanne was also not a miss: she was next to the boy every 5 seconds and was ready to take him in her grip, but apparently, she gave him time on purpose each time so that he could escape, pretending to be a little clumsy.       Roxy: «Look how quirky he is!» – she spoke with feigned displeasure and a smile, once again not catching him.       Gregory just laughed back at her, ran away from her for some distance, then stopped and turned around to watch her and regain his breath. After a short break, they continued to play catch-up again.       The two of them sometimes ran past Freddy and Chica, who were always behind and in front of them because of this.       Gregory: «Take care!» – he spoke and ran between them.       They pressed against the opposite walls of the corridor with a small dazed expression on their faces. For them, of course, it was a little unexpected to meet a boy running towards them from around the bend. After the quiet trampling of the boy, they were immediately followed by the heavier and louder footsteps of the wolf, who also ran between the two, furiously waving her arms in the direction of the boy. After this run, the boy heard Chica's loud and soft laugh in the distance behind him. Then she shouted after them:       Chica: «Well, are hilarious!»       The boy turned around quickly at that moment, and then ran back, carefully and deftly dodging Roxanne on his way, who was still trying to grab him. She growled a little recklessly after that and with the words:       Roxy: «Well, shithead!» – she ran towards him.       Gregory: «Nope!» – he shouted in a mischievous tone.       Roxy: «And where are you running off to? I'm going to catch up with you anyway!» – she said in a triumphant tone.       Gregory: «Nope!» – the boy shouted in the same tone.       Then the two ran past Chica and Freddy again at high speed, only in the opposite direction. From all this, the boy himself became amused: the way these two stood near the walls made him laugh. Because of this, he started laughing and involuntarily slowed down. Thanks to this, the wolf finally caught up with the boy and abruptly grabbed his hands with the words:       Roxy: «Gotcha!» – after that, she laid him tightly on one hand, and began to tickle him with the other, saying triumphantly and jokingly: «I told you so! I'll show you in the dust! Then you'll swallow it from under my racing car! Got it?»       The boy's laughter was even stronger now. It even made him feel a little suffocated. He was amused by the tickling, and by the situation in general, and, finally, by Roxanne's funny speech for him. The boy, after a while, began to try to gather his thoughts and strength in order to at least say something.       Gregory: «Vermin!» – he said through his laughter.       Roxy: «Nope! It's you – vermin!» – she said this by gently poking him with her fingers, thereby tickling the boy even more: «Ha! Yes! More running! You're not getting the damn out of here now!»       Gregory: «Oh my God!.. Again!» – the boy barely uttered again through laughter.       Roxy: «Not again, but anew! Well, so, what about the dust? Eh?» – the wolf said in a hooligan way and again began to tickle him without poking.       Gregory: «Come on, that's enough!..» – he spoke and laughed out of tickling, after which he continued again, gasping through laughter: «I was just joking!»       Roxy: «A-a-and?» – she stretched out hooligan-like words and, having stopped tickling the boy, approached him with her face.       Gregory: «What “and”?» – the boy asked awkwardly, resting after being tickled.       Roxanne started tickling him again.       Gregory: «What else is there?..» – the boy said in a pleading tone already.       After that, she stopped tickling him and asked him with the same hooligan tone:       Roxy: «Will still argue with our speed?»       The boy rolled his eyes, and then spoke with a smile and feigned indifference, a little droning:       Gregory: «Oh… Well, okay! I won't argue anymore… almost!.. About… your speed…» – then he began to speak in a normal tone: «No, you're really a shithead'ie! Found a reason! Crap…»       After that, she laughed a little, tickled him a little more, and then abruptly hugged him, starting to caress, saying:       Roxy: «Well, that's a prick'ie vermin…»       «Here we go again!..» – Gregory thought, hugging her back: «Well, and what should I do with this vermin?.. … Damn! I can't stand to look calmly at this rabid tail!»       Roxanne's tail was spinning intensely from side to side again… like a helicopter… Um, yes… No, really, vermin! So… that's not what we're talking about. Let's get back to the story.       At this time, Freddy and Chica were already approaching them from around the bend. Fazbear, at the same time, was laughing a little all the time and couldn’t calm down in any way.       «Crap…» – the boy was talking to himself mentally, holding back his laughter: «If he can't calm down because of her tail either, then I'm not surprised».       The second one came up to Roxanne and put her hand on her free shoulder, saying cheerfully:       Chica: «It is good with him, is not it? You are both so funny and cute when you play like that! I just cannot! This!..» – before she could finish, she was interrupted:       Roxy: «Stop…» – she said with displeasure, looking at the interlocutor.       Then the boy tensed a little from the change of mood of the wolf. At this time, her tail rose up, slightly wrapped in a snail and at the same time curled up in several places.       «But, crap!..» – Gregory thought, looking at this: «But, you like it!.. Why are you holding back this pleasant feeling so much?»       Chica: «Come on you!..» – she spoke a little uncomprehendingly, but she was interrupted again:       Roxy: «Chica…» – the wolf said with a short growl, slightly baring her teeth.       She just shrugged and gently tapped Roxanne twice on the shoulder, saying cheerfully at the same time:       Chica: «Well! Then somehow later! Let's move on!» – and she went on down the corridors.       After she moved forward a little, along with Freddy, the boy lifted his head from the wolf's shoulder and began to ask her quietly and calmly with minor perplexity:       Gregory: «Roxy, why don't you just relax? Being nice isn't as bad as you think it’s. Come on just…»       Roxy: «So…» – she snapped, turning to him with displeasure: «It's not that simple here. I've already discussed this with you».       Gregory: «Well-well! Screw that!.. Let's not spoil the moment. We'll figure it out later…» – he said it hurriedly at first, and in the end calmly and steadily, after which he pressed his head against her shoulder, and continued to speak to her peacefully: «I'm fine with you even in this situation».       Roxanne stopped moving after these words, although at first she clearly wanted to object to something. After a while, her tail dropped and began to spin calmly from side to side, gaining momentum. After about 3 more seconds, Wolf again tightly placed the boy on one arm, after which, under soft and hooligan words:       Roxy: «Well, that's a cute little vermin'ue…» – she quickly and gently poked him in the nose with the little claw of her index finger of her other hand.       At that moment, the boy looked at her in surprise for several seconds, and then a reproachful smile appeared on his face.       «Well, shithead'ie…» – was going through Gregory's mind at this time: «So she can, but I can't… But okay! At least this way… At least she's not shy about it in front of the others. We are slowly moving towards improvement. It's always better to do any business without haste, right? So that the result is fixed for a long time!»       After these thoughts, the boy looked in her direction with a more minor reproach. Even, on the contrary, he began to look at her with peace. Roxanne only laughed softly and hooligan-like at his expression and walked down the corridors with the boy in her arms, catching up with the others…
