Math nightmare

Coming out of the classroom, I saw that Baldi had a ruler in his hand, which he was hitting against his hand. Blow — step, blow — step. It looks like that’s how he walks. Realizing that I didn’t have much time to get out of his sight and if I didn’t do this, they would kill me right here and right now, without wasting any more time, I rushed away from him.
