Would Like To Be A Breeze Or A Little Shadow

My mind is spinning in endless loops
Yearning for peace and restful naps
Oh to be a soft breeze or a little shadow
Underneath an ash tree, free at last
A creation of thoughts so pure and light
Untainted by worries or pain
Existing in the in-between realm
Where rivers flow with tranquil grace
Their waters frozen, still and serene
Unchanged by time, forever pristine
Until a human's hand disrupts their waters
With stones, out of anger or just for fun
I can't judge, nor do I wish to try
Understanding leaves me as I sigh
My thoughts keep circling without end
And I question if they are correct
With too much knowledge comes the truth
That we don't know anything at all
So let me be a breeze or just a little shadow
Underneath the ash tree, imbued with peace
