Pictures painted In the corners of this reality Spinning all around Turning upside down Bright, sharp and violent They keep singing The same song Over and over again Even as I close my eyes They just start screaming Making no sound But drawing dark words Like in an old movie Just like in an old movie Was there anything we could do Was there ever anyone Willing to stop listening Wanting to start hearing Or it’s just a big illusion Carved out so neatly On the edges of this mind The mind we used to share Now we are falling apart Just to fuse back together Alone and together Trapped and free Damned and divine Shall we build a brand new world?
