Sweet dreams

Diluc is already sitting on the bed and reading a book when Kaya enters the room. The second guy apparently just returned from work, and judging by his appearance, he was very tired. Diluc puts his novel aside, not forgetting to mark where he stopped reading, and now looks expectantly at Kaya. It’s already past midnight. If Kaya really spent so much time doing reports again, then something needs to be done. And Diluc does — he silently helps Kaya undress and drags him to her warm nest. Kaya is only a little indignant, such as “ 'Luc, wait a minute,” “I didn’t take a shower.” But for the most part, all Diluc hears now are snorts and tired sighs. When the fuss is over, Kaya is already lying on the bed with Diluc — both are on their sides, turned towards each other. Ragndvindr looks into the guy’s blue-violet eye and thinks about everything at once. So they spend some time in silence. Alberich is still awake, breathing heavily every now and then, but holding on well. -Still don’t want to sleep? — says Diluc, squinting slightly. — To be honest, no. Ragndvindr frowns his beautiful eyebrows easily. — Hey, ray of sunshine, don’t make that face. I’m really very tired, but I don’t want to sleep. — Kaya chuckles quietly. — Although, I think I’ll fall asleep much faster in your company. Will you read something to me? Diluc grunts as he rolls over to get his book. — “The exciting adventures of the knight Dionysus.” Do you want to listen to this? — grins. Alberich nods and lies down right next to Diluc, closer to his body, nudging into his shoulder. Diluc starts reading from the beginning. Page after page and Ragndvindr slowly turns his gaze to the guy — Kaeya has already fallen asleep. “Good night, my knight,” he kisses the top of the head, “we’ll discuss everything with you tomorrow…”
