April Showers 2024

Greetings, authors and readers! This short event is going to be quick as spring showers (hence the name!) – 3 days only! For the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of April we offer the authors keyphrases to use as an inspiration for your works. Here they are: 1st of April: jokes/a prank that got out of hand/April Fool’s Day; 2nd of April: spring showers/changeable weather/sudden change of plans that worked out for the best; 3nd of April: flowers and their meanings/sending, getting or presenting flowers to someone/gardening. You can choose one keyphrase for the day or, if you are feeling brave and extremely inspired, you may choose all of them! For example, for the 1st of April we have a set of keyphrases provided: jokes/a prank that got out of hand/April Fool’s Day. Maybe you want to write a work focusing on the first option - jokes. Or, maybe, you want to use “jokes” and “April Fool’s Day” and combine them. That’s fine with us as well! The best thing is that to get the reward you don’t need to participate in each and every day of the event if you don’t feel like it. Each day is counted separately. For example, you feel really inspired with the keyphrases of the 1st and 3rd days but you can’t seem to find it in yourself to write anything for the 2nd of April. No worries! You can still claim your reward for the 1st and 3rd of April. If you write a work for the 1st of April, you can claim 100 coins. If you write works for the 1st and 2nd of April (or 1st and 3rd, or 2nd and 3rd), you can claim 200 coins. If you go all in and write works for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of April, you can claim 300 coins which is the maximum reward for the April Showers 2024 event.
